From the bottom of my heart, please be save with those things. After they took Steve, it’s been hard to find someone with the same charisma as him until I found this channel, I just don’t want to lose another “Steve” but great catch anyway 😂🤙🏾
@@Lifers I do have to agree to this, I really like Coyote and he is pretty much as close as we can get to Steve alongside Dingo. Those 3 have done amazing things for wildlife and educating us about them.
You are comparing apples to oranges. A Stingray cannot kill you as in it is not adapted to kill humans. What happened to Steve was a very freak accident. He was too close and he got hit in a really vital spot. That doesn't mean Stingray's are fatal. That's like saying Apples can kill you if you choke on it. The Apple by design is not dangerous.
I'm a really big fan and can you please travel to Puerto Rico and go through the animals they have their I'm going there in 5 days and I really wanted to know what animals and creatures they have there
COYOTE ''lets go catch some sting rays'' MARK ''ok but be careful'' coyote jumps in water SPLASH!!!! coyote screams and sinks MARK ''nooooooooooooooooooooooooo coyoteeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!''
@Calvin Tran yes and no when they are not in the wild People take the stingers and i am Pretty shure that all in the wild do but I am not even a teen yet so this may be wrong info.
Same, I had a similar encounter, though it was not a stingray, I turns out it was not( I was fishing btw) it was maybe a flounder or a halibut, which they both have the similar skill of digging themselves into the sand for hunting, safety and camouflage, but, a lot of times, if is a fishing experience, grouper also make the catch feel 100% like a stingray
Idk. Sting rays are dangerous yes. But your also in Australia. I'd have been more worried about the 12 foot salt water crocodile that you can see moving in your direction at 5:37
Notice how it stopped thrashing after a while? I think it realized Coyote didn't mean it any harm and relaxed a bit. Stingrays will never fail to be cute to me. They are so chill and actually kind of smart. I know the ones at feeding attractions learn little tricks in order to maximize food reaching mouth. Including one that actually swam on its back, slowly cruising for treats. I wish my dad had been paying more attention with the camera. It would have made a great video... But, yeah, this stingray was swimming with mouth up towards the surface and wide open waiting for the dried shrimp to be dropped in. It did this multiple times in about an hour of me watching people feed the rays...and doing some feeding myself of course. I still have no idea how the late Mr. Irwin managed to scare one of these creatures enough to get a stinger through the chest. He must have just done exactly the wrong thing at exactly the wrong time. I dunno. I do remember not being all that surprised, though, after some of the stunts he pulled on Crocodile Hunter. I was more surprised that it was a STINGRAY of all creatures that killed him. I was expecting it to be a shark or crocodile. Maybe even a snake. Not the docile, bottom-dwelling stingray... Seriously, what was the man doing with that poor fish to freak it out so badly? I will never blame an animal for the actions it takes while terrified because, having a general anxiety disorder and being prone to SEVERE panic attacks, I know how that level of fear feels. The fight/flight/freeze response can be unpredictable because one has no way of knowing how many options the affected subconscious deems to be available or what it defaults to. Mine is flight followed by freeze and my last resort is fight. Wouldn't be surprised if stingrays didn't follow a similar response pattern. So, yeah. I don't blame the stingray. I blame the one who scared it so badly.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I found it very entertaining just watching Coyote run through the water!

I wonder how Steve Irwin passed away..
Cool catch! I thought I caught one before but it was only something similar to a sting ray...
