I was born in 1970, it's so lovely you have some items from your childhood, your mom sounds lovely. When I was young and living in Belize my parents had an auction and sold everything so I don't have much from my childhood.

I just loved this VR! Velvet's hair -- so cool! The fact that the ragdoll stayed at the cabin is so neat -- of course she was more special to you because of that! I love the mid-60s Barbies -- their face molds were the cutest, I think! I love that your girl scout leader stitched macrame badges for you! That is awesome! And the sewing machine memories -- how special that you have it now, and your story about your mom made me tear up! :) So happy you shared your creativity-inspired memories! :)
