I was just searching for altered book inspiration as I begin making one for my daughter. I am so glad yours came up in that search! This is absolutely beautiful and has given me a great amount of ideas! Thank you! I am also a big fan of Kathleen! I have used a lot of her ideas in previous journals and always try and incorporate a few of her pocket and collage ideas. Her button closure is one of my faves!!

Nice to meet you face to face and I loved everything you made for me and gave me for Christmas in July! You know, in publishing, you plan 6 months in advance too, so you are scouting around for Christmas supplies in the middle of summer when there isn't any on hand. That's when you have to put your thinking cap on and get really creative! There is a topic channel for Little House on the Prairie and I've looked up Whisper Country already, but I'm gonna have to go back and look a little closer at the episode now that I know where to look. Would love to hear the story of how your husband ended up as a child actor, too! Blessings!

The little sewing kit is vintage, everything was still with it except the scissors so we added a new pair. We just added the cover.
