4:53 called dadar gulung - like a crepe filled shreded coconut infused with brownsugar 5:46 called lupis from sticky rice should've topped with the brown sugar condiments
What I love in this video (and maybe we as Indonesian can also do the same) is take an adventure to the local market instead of fancy restaurant.. I melt at the children's expression, Bali has such a devastating effect of the pandemic, and actually this video is telling us all how we can help our (balinese) family here.
sometime try sweet martabak topped with chocolate, cheese and nuts, generally sweet martabak is topped like that, and the taste is probably much better
beautiful video, great to see you support all these amazing hard working small businesses and entrepreneurs, love the smiles on everyone, the interaction with the kids in the end was great
9:07 In Indonesia, if you give something like money to other especially older than you, then you should do it by your right hand. Left hand is considered unpolite.
Ayam (Fried Chicken) my favorite in Southeast Asia. Its that local ketchup that is super delicious, I think its a mango ketchup. Ofcourse the Satay is a favorite too. I really really regret not trying to eat that roasted whole pork. They have that in Philippines. But Balinese roasted pork must be so different.
🙏 not manggo ketchup,,!! In Indonesia we use sweet soy sauce ( in Indonesia we call "Kecap") in English "ketchup",. that "kecap" made from black soy Bean and brown sugar that mix togheter until fermented ",, and we use for mix with sate, fried rice, and mie goreng, you can mix with soup to like soto, or Bakso,, 👍 that make food more tasty, 🙏 sorry for my bad English 🙏
Awesome Vlog!!... congratulations already tried the es teler for the 1st time... 😂😂😂👍👍👍.. The food that you asking the name after you drink es teler is "Lupis". Made from Sticky Rice... Subscribe done!...🤩👍👍

4:30 I don't think it's lychee, we often call it "Kolang-Kaling" in Java, it's the fruit of palm sugar
Good to know!
We used to eat this with the different art of things such as put it in kolak, or just after boild, put some syrup, hm yummi
@@gypsyinsneakers kolang kaling = palm fruit, Indonesia have a lots of different kind of palm fruits
