Such a good character study, I remember the ending of this movie was shown in a Carlsberg Larger advert in the 80’s with the tag line “worth waiting for” I will watch anything that stars John Mills. Given the location of the shoot, if definitely helped with the authenticity, nice one mate, take care 👍😃👍
Looks like a good film for my to watch list. I do remember watching a woman in a Dressing Gown years ago which was played exceptionally well by Sylvia Symes .
Excellent review , Always enjoyed this film but don't have it in my collection, i do believe the it looks fantastic on Blu-ray though so on my list it goes.
