He's actually very different after someone gets to know him. Simon is a business professional and it shows with all the different talent agencies or shows he's created over the years. He cares about those that he's agreed to take on and mentor. So it's like two sides to the same coin. On one side is the boss, and the other is the caring coworker or friend.

Guys that are abusive only understand one thing .....getting abused themselves by another party stops it !! My cousin beat his girlfriend while in a drunken state and she came to me for advice ....I told her what he’d understand....what I said earlier.....the next weekend my drunken cousin hit her again and passed out in her apartment . He awoke the next morning handcuffed to a railing Nude by the railroad tracks with 4 broken ribs, broken nose and broken fingers on both hands.... a note was taped to his chest a warning never to go around her or contact her again or it would be worst ! After a 6 week time in the hospital , he got the msg and got the hell out of the state for he never knew who it was that did it. Police investigated with no report or charges filed .....I had no idea either ....

We should drop the “alleged” convention when talking about the victim’s experience. “Alleged” should only pertain to the alleged perpetrators until they are convicted in deference to presumption of the innocence. Using term “alleged” about the victim’s own experience shades the victim as lying. We don’t use “alleged” when referring to burglary (except for the perpetrator). It makes it sound like personal crimes, as opposed to crimes against property, are inherently suspect that they even exist. In this way, we protect the bullies.

I'm just glad to see Mel B being her true self here. On the show, she was overly dramatic and annoying, but I figured that wasn't "real" and was more so for fun/views. I never seen Simon as a jerk like others do. Simon is actually a big softie and will help whomever he can.

The problem with Mel b is I watched her in another interview after an x Factor show sitting on the couch next to to Louie Walsh in the whole time she looked so uncomfortable like the last thing she wanted to do was be there next to him. I think one of the problems with Mel b is she is very honest in her facial expressions about what is going on internally inside of her head. Because there was another time I saw her where she participated on a contestants get on America's got talent and you can tell that it was over she could not get out of there looking up because she was so uncomfortable. So I firmly believe she is very honest about her emotional state on her face

There has been much discussion about Simon and how he runs his shows. Crazy to think he does not hire many people of color on all his shows worldwide and give opportunities to many perfirmers of color. He apparently must pay them and treat them well. Don't see them running away the first chance they can. Sounds like Mel genuinely appreciates him as a friend and a boss. I don't see her as a pushover but she was able to get along with Simon. Just makes me a little skeptical of other stories about AGT that did not seem to come out until the person was fired or not extended. You have to question if by chance that person was still on the panel and being paid millions if everthing would be just OK.
