Making A 1,500-Year-Old Redwood Root Into A Table

What was once the flagship of our Reserve Collection and a piece that had been admired in our facility for over a decade is now with Matts Woodworks ready to be transformed into one of the oldest and most unique tables ever made. This tree was over 1,500 years old before being cut down in 1880 on private property up in Northern California. When Matt came to pick up the root, we spent a few days milling it to the perfect height and preparing the piece for what Matt will be creating back at his shop. Full video to come.
