  • Do's and Don'ts to help you avoid the pitfalls with watercolor eye paintings, by professional artist Paul Hopkinson.
    In this video I share some of the most common mistakes that people make when they are painting eyes. To me the eye is the most important part of any painting and so getting it right is vitally important. From the right paints to the right angles let me show you lots of things to think about and to incorporate into your own watercolor paintings. Get your eye paintings looking realistic, like they really are sparkly and full of life.

    This is way above my *beginner* level...I'm painting rabbits from my photographs but have trouble w/ frontal faces so do side angles. I have used oils long ago & sold a few painting then; now I like dry~fast paint like acrylics & watercolors & it is fun. Your *tips* are very helpful ... perhaps if I stay w/ it I may some day be able to do cat eyes & frontal faces. TY *Wildlife in Watercolors*

    • @TheDevonArtist
      @TheDevonArtist  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can do it Miji, you know you can, especially with the painting experience you have, even though some of it was with oil paints. It's learning how to look and 'see' within a photo and transfer that to a sheet of paper. Keep going and keep those brushes wet, Paul 🎨
