That's the main things with the pan cars, tires. It's, I would say, the number 1 tuning point of them. So important. If you get a car set up with all the geometry right sure that might get you a tenth of a second faster best lap time, but tires can make massive changes. Running f1s on foams on asphalt I've gone through many different tire combinations. In fact I'm going to go and run some new ones tommorow!
It's crazy how nippy they are on only a 1S battery.!! Another great video.. As usual.! Stay safe out there mate & best wishes from Scotland 🏴 🙏 ❤️ 📻 🕹️ 🔋 🏎️ 🚓 🚔 🚖 🚗 🚙 🚚 🚛 🏍️ 🛫 🚤 ✈️.!
Great video about gt12 , the next round of the GT12 national series is racing on Sunday at Stafford. Why not book and try it out there. The series is open to all abilities so everyone is welcome and im sure you could even make some content from it
im looking at getting into racing but not sure what the best or most popular classes are? do you have any cars u have built up for sale or know anyone i could buy one from? im from tunbridge wells in kent.
I think the Schumacher guy was about to say you don't need a tyre truing machine if you are a beginner but you cut him off. Also you didn't mention the different wheel fitments?
First of many vids hopefully He actually said there are people at track that can help you with tyre and can borrow theirs .. but due to background noise it was in usable ..
Main issues with GT12 class is it uses a 1s setup unlike most other race classes and foams just aren't very user friendly for a beginner. The M chassis class seems a lot more user/beginner friendly especially if they went to a control ESC and setup like FWD TC has class
@@PopalongRC with the rev controlled ESC's starting to come in I would think a 2s shorty could be used in a GT12 which makes everything more standardised. I think all race classes will go this way in the end. There was also a company doing rubber tyres for them at one point
Nice run and thanks for the tips and the following interview👍
Cheers buddy
Thanks for watching

Possibly even more than when running rubber tyre.

We are racing at the MTC clubman’s this week but will look at joining the Nation series in the future.
Still no tyres available for this in the U.K., hard to compete without wheels and tyres

or drop me an email n i can give you contact number
Best bet is check out your local clubs and see what they are running and go from there…
Sick video! I may see you down at MK in future if you're a regular. Currently running Mardave Mini Assassins but the GT12s are catching my eye 👀
Sounds good see you there .. be sure to come and say hi
Excellent 👌🏻
