To say the Urus looks like a Audi Q8 would be like saying the Sun looks like the moon knowing you can only look at one comfortably for a length of time. Lamborghini was a brand with identity long before Audi’s acquisition. The urus continues the supercar tradition of not making practicality a high priority instead staying performance focused. Those used to supercar interior dimensions will see the Urus as cavernous. They will have lower expectations for creature comforts and a lavish options list. Individual opinions are always interesting and more of a niche than the item being critiqued.
The Urus still manages to bring the look of drama with imposing presence found in the DNA of Lamborghini products. This is still and always be a exclusive entry to the Supercar domain.

Oh well, I kind of agree. I like the fact that it a Lambo, but that's not the best design. The cheaper version is Audi RSQ8 which makes more sense. You just mentioned that.
Wasn’t the consensus on this car being a RS Q8, Cayenne turbo kinda thing since launch? I mean it’s an excellent marketing car that generates buzz, gives lambo a new car which lambo hasn’t introduced for nearly a decade by now, and the mass market loves SUV. Definitely not for the enthusiasts, or even G wagon lovers, etc.

I have said the same thing since the URUS pics were released. It definitely looks like it's Audi from a far. In no way is it worth the purchase vs the Audi RSQ8. Looks good, but not worth an additional 100k by no means.
That's because it's based off the Audi RSQ8 and Volkswagen Atlas.

It's a novelty. And as is often the case with a novelty, it wears off. All you have to do is to look at the used market that used to be very good with prices over MSRP. Not so now. In a year or two, these are going to tank.

If I had the money for a Lamborghini Urus, I’d get a Lucid Air Sapphire instead. My favorite Lamborghini is the Murcielago, it makes me say Automobili Lamborghini in an Italian accent. The Gallardo is pretty nice too. The seats in the Diablo, Mercielago, and Gallardo are hard with no give so you feel more connected to the car but they are super comfortable.
It’s not that bad, in a lambo kind of way. Not for me though. Inside is kind of cool. Sounds ok compared to other SUVs in its class. I wasn’t too impressed with the leather quality on the interior. I would opt for the alcantara. This guy is cocky but I agree with his points. While the Bentayga is not as sporty, it’s has a great engine and very good craftsmanship. I ended up going with the Bentayga and enjoyed it for about a year. The only other option is the Cullinan, which doesn’t do it for me. The new G wagon is also a less expensive but great option. I would have to say that the G, although it handles like a pig, is my favorite. Certainly has the most character. Good video. Always entertaining. Thumbs up to the cocky guy lol

Been interested to see what happens to the Urus on the used market given a lot of dealers are getting trade-ins and most people are getting hit over the head then dealers are selling them cost to sticker used. Even wholesale seeing them sitting the same or over sticker still, unless it has no options.
Now the 2020 has soft close doors few more options, as well the RS Q8 is hitting dealers will be interesting to see what happens.
Oh and most the RS Q8 I found are lacking options and most dealers wanting for there's to show up and told there staying at the port till 2021 for some reason.
That was the biggest Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde review I have ever heard in my life on one hand you say the car isn’t as flashy as it needs to be but then when you Parkette it is flashy that doesn’t make sense people are going to look at the car regardless and I don’t think you can get a used van Tega for 120,000 when the car cost about 450,000 brand new you might be able to find one for about what the Lamborghini Urus cost

They buy it because they can buy it twice , brag about it & dispose of it or trash it at the car & breakfast. Rich people really are spoiled but only because its a material world we all are to some degree. I'm the type of guy who would buy the lambo truck just to slap advertising on it knowing its a billboard on wheels not because i give two shits about lambos. I'm more of a guy who would rather have a bullet proof sprinter with the jet style interior & a toilet. Or maybe a bullet proof jeep!

People buy things because they can...When you are in that bracket of consumers who can afford to fork out a quarter of a million for a car you will not be thinking hey, I can get an RSQ8 and save a hundred grand. You will get it, because you can.
I used to have a G63 that I sold 8 months ago. As a daily the G is idiotic. Not because of how it looks, what it costs or the rest, but because they have made a car that is so impractical. That folding rear seat is an absolute joke, and frankly, the rear door just gets old really fast. Great novelty for a few months, but then that wears off.
Urus or Bentayga? Wouldn't be caught dead in either one of them. So what's next? I sold my Lusso and miss it, so Purosangue is on order for me. Not as practical as either, but in many ways a much more honest car. Should I go back to an SUV? I'd do a Levante as I kind of miss my Levante.
If u like original design, u can buy Pagani, koenigsegg, Ferrari.. instead VW group, BMW group brands

As someone who have been in both and HAS the Urus ... There is BIG DIFFERENCE in power delivery there is a lot of difference in almost everything about the two cars even the interior quality.. YA RSQ8 is amazing car but its like R8 and Hurricane ... you can live with R8 WAYY EASILY WAY BETTER but you miss out on the SPORT feeling .. its something that you understand when you are behind the two cars . DOESN'T MATTER IF ITS LAMBO OR W/E BRAND its just better car with a bigger soul . Also this look has to be something that can appeal on bigger amount of people .. its mass production car that has a really amazing soul. Just like a Maserati but they are just unreliable if they had better reliability ya would be amazing car that a lot of people would buy .

I wasn’t a fan of the Urus when it first came out but am starting to warm up to the looks. I agree, it may not be a buy at $250k but at what point is it worth a look? It looks the best of the super SUV’s, drives the fastest, and has the best tech. I like it at $180k or less. At what price point do you love it?

Used ones are selling 70k over NEW Msrp. So a new one at 260k is now selling used for 330k with under 10k miles. Ridiculous. But that’s what’s happening now.

I’ve had one and I changed it for Range Rover I completely agree a Lamborghini is an out and out supercar always has been and should stick to that as what they should be a truck is a truck and and 5.0 is plenty in a truck as it can’t go many places of road anyway where a Range Rover can still climb mountains and tear up the road . Only reason you have an urus is for show . I love my svj and my lp670 I still have but lambs truck just no need much much better cars q8 rs is the same car but cheaper . But if you want a truck a Range Rover or a rolls cullinan !!!
