- WoW Holy Island is a Landscape Photographers Paradise, and also a 28 Years Later Film Location.
Howdy Doody,
And welcome to the channel,
In this video we visit Lindisfarne otherwise known as Holy Island on a scouting mission ready for the F7.1 road trip. We cross the causeway and get immediately blown away by the beauty of the island..... along with this it turns into a Photographers Paradise as we encounter endless compositions from around the Castle Shoreline and then into the Harbour.... this place really is a Mecca for Photography.
So come along and see this place as we uncover compositions and get treated to Light Rays Galore on this amazing Island.... which also turns out to be a 28 years later film location as we try to get around the security to get to our compositions.

I do hope this video will help you get out into nature, as it certainly does help with depression and helps with your mind, body and soul.... along with your photography.

That sky mate! Stunning. Love it.
@@garrysugdenphotography cheers Mr, yeah it was certainly something and so needed on a flat day like that 🥰📷🙏👍🏻
Hi Darren I assumed it was the recent f7.1 trip when I saw the notification from You Tube but had forgotten you'd visited a couple of weeks before. I love Lindisfarne and got some great images when I visited last year. I think the ones that you got with the mooring rings were my favourites and I can see why you kept them in colour. If the colour adds to the image then keep it in. Even though it was probably only the green of the grassy hillside that adds the colour it's definitely just enough to break up an otherwise mono image. I also took the classic upturned boat and anchor but realised after a few shots that I needed to move the anchor 😂 so I dragged it around for a more pleasing composition. I'll have to check to see if it's still as I left it 😊. I'm also excited about the 28 Years Later film as I loved 28 days later and I never knew there was a sequel 😮 Looking forward to the f7.1 vlogs from Northumberland
Cheers Paul 🥰🙏👍🏻 yeah this was before the F7.1 trip. I was up in Northumberland with the family and convinced them to get up early as O wanted to come and see / scout it out (shhhhh don't tell the Mrs) ready for when we all came back up 😉👍🏻
Keep an eye out for when the videos come out as we got some portfolio images from the trip 🥰😉👍🏻📷
Thank you Darren for a very good vlog. I'm booked to return in the autumn so you have given me inspiration and locations.
@podgysnapper5830 Thank you 😊 🙏 this is an absolute must visit Mr P, just check the tide times 🥰📷👍🏻
Nice one mate, younworked the area really well, and found some compositions that really worked 👍
Cheers Mr 🥰🙏 most appreciated..... and that was before we were all there 🤣😉📷👍🏻
@GingerCaptures looking back I wish I'd had a pre visit before hand, I think I was overwhelmed by the location and didn't utilise my time there 😔
@optical_creator we did go twice too Mr 😉👍🏻 got a composition on the last vist for the sunrise that I hadn't shot before...... all will be revealed in the coming weeks 😉👍🏻
@GingerCaptures yeah and that's when I had a block and got nothing 😪
I was thinking what film crew 😂 how did I miss them 😂 then it twigged.
