Hi guys, I included the #ReportByFelix when editing this video but aparently forgot to make the layer visible when exporting the file. So...it's missing now. In case you are wondering: the video was shot by Felix in December of 2020.
Ethiopian Airlines! I have memories of going on an Ethiopian Airlines 707 in 1979 (or 1980?) when I was 7 years old. I was travelling with my mum and brother from London Heathrow to Rome via Paris. Due to a bomb scare the flight was delayed for 24 hours. Strange, though being so young and loving planes at such a young age, I loved the flight and the delay. For years I remembered the beautiful colours and the planes interior including the seating. Around the middle of the plane, 6 seats on both sides were facing each other with a table in between (some passengers therefore flying backwards). Amazing memories..
I’ve been watching you guys since 2018 I believe. After that I lost motivation and left but now I’m back and the channel has grown ever since like with the intro of the flight path. Keep you the god work’
Great video. Ethiopian Airlines services look excellent and friendly F/A. Foods look delicious. One day I will fly Ethiopian Airlines coz the airline is Star Alliance
So you can actually fly from Milan to Rome on a 787 😮 How cool 😍 Also, 9:36 “crostata” - the little pie or cake looking thing - is something Italians eat for breakfast, and I also did during my first time in Rome 😅
I took the same flight in 2018. But after ADD we then boarded a B777-200LR to EZE with a technical stop in GRU. The longest flight I've ever had. (MXP-ADD-EZE - - ET 713 / ET506 - 24hrs /10k miles)
Flew on this airline 11Dec 2023 from Gaborone Botswana to Heathrow via Addis Ababa. Food from Botswana to Addis absolutely horrendous ( had chicken and rice that was freezing cold! ). Ended with food poisoning for 4 days. Trip to Addis Ababa from Gaborone about 5.5 hrs. No entertainment unless business class. Cabin crew served food and drinks then went to Business class and slept in empty seats.
This is unusual, Ethiopian operating 8th freedom flight from Italy to Ethiopia. As far as I know, they usually operating 5th or 6th freedom flight between Europe and Africa or even North America to Africa via Europe. Great flight.
Hi how was the customer service. Is food expensive in Ethophia airport. Are they strict with the 23kg baggage allowance. Would they allow you to go over the limit. Are they also strict with hand carry weight.
1 question. From Milan to Rome did you use domestic departure or international departure terminal? i am askin because if someone arrives from south america and connect to this flight how will they do this route?
Hello Simply Aviation! Great video as always! On 14 October you will be on the last Alitalia flight, right? And please, document one of the first flights of ITA - Italia Trasporto Aereo! ;)
It's weird that they used only one stair to board the whole 787, usually it has to be at least 2. The plane was the older version of the 787, which looks a bit dated. I like the meal, a large beef fillet for economy was fantastic.
I wonder why Ethiopia airlines had to start the flight from Vienna. Rome is a larger market than Vienna and passengers from Vienna could have made a connecting flight to Rome and then board their Ethiopia flight in Rome. Will this not save the airline time and money? I think so...
I’m flying them to Rome in June, but I’ve read more bad than good reviews. Being bribed in Adis Abada to pay more, etc. and with Boeing in trouble, I’m very hesitant
I flew the ET red-eye from FCO to ADD several years ago. The flight originated in CPH at the time, and they served the meal on that leg. So FCO ADD without anything to eat - not even snacks 😐 but the staff was very friendly and attentive. A very good airline
Is it a crew that goes on flights separately and reviews it that is then watched edited and uploaded or can anyone record it and if it’s suitable it gets uploaded
È che del catering si occupa il paese di partenza del volo. Su un volo New York Roma sarà statunitense, su un Addis Abeba Roma etiope e su un Roma Tokyo italiano

All good! Somehow I knew this was by Felix
Hello there. When you can't find time to travel, I can travel from Istanbul.
Well, he did not check how comfy the pillow provided is, so it was sure its not David :)
Where’s the third alcoholic guy?
There's nothing as exciting as boarding an aircraft with a colorful interior. It truly makes you feel you are "travelling places".
Incredible airline. It is the spirit and proud of Africa. 🇪🇹

Great one guys.
Yes you are posting daily
Watched this video to see the seats for my upcoming flight. I got the worst seat ever, 28A just by the exit near the toilets and no window 2:07.
Really nice video thanks for documenting
Are you going to catch one of SAA'S flights when they relaunch on 23 September?

Felix
Nice vid, I have a question, what is the name of your intro sound?
Love your videos from Punjab, India.
Something is missing in this video. So the flight report was film by who? Felix or David?
Felix
Nice flight report.

FYI
Ethiopian Airlines operates a lot of 787's with a mixture of GEnX and Trent 1000 engines
NICE Ethiopian Airlines
Returning to Africa? Does that mean you're going to do some interesting routes through the continent again?
All I want to know is, what have you done with David? Is he stuck in lost luggage waiting to get collected?
I guess a stop over at Rome?
How long were you on the ground in Rome?
1 question. From Milan to Rome did you use domestic departure or international departure terminal? i am askin because if someone arrives from south america and connect to this flight how will they do this route?
Love from India ❤️❤️❤️
THE IFE isn't the same now they got a new more modern one

Can you please tell me the name of the music that you have used at the beginning of the video?

Plzz upgrade your camera setup. Otherwise you content is amazing ❣
Nice flight..
You didn't tell us who did this trip report (am guessing its Felix) or when the video was shot?
Please view the description for the date.
@@simply_aviation Ok, noted. I only brought it up because this info is usually provided in the beginning stages of the video.

hi felix ❤
Imagine getting on in Rome and someone is asleep in your seat.
Nice!

Can you do Boston to Honolulu it’s the longest flight that Hawaiian airline operates and I was wondering if you could do a review on that
We have a video about that flight on our channel! :)

I’m flying them to Rome in June, but I’ve read more bad than good reviews. Being bribed in Adis Abada to pay more, etc. and with Boeing in trouble, I’m very hesitant
Good trip report, because you don't do a trip report on an Air China Boeing 747-8, from San Francisco to Beijing.
this is recorded by?
Felix
You should come to India to try vistara airline brand new 787-9
Eww India
@@Mohamad_2310 what Eww?

Any passenger can record and upload a flight trip report.
He is not a crew. I think he is a businessman and fly for work.
