Rockford Fosgate flew in a few great SQ guys and some pretty serious testing equipment. They used a 6 mic array and of course some trained ears. We spent a day and a half tweaking on it and now it sounds pretty damn good! It sounded good before but now its incredible! Of course, when talking SQ, you know you are usually never completely done but we are sitting pretty damn good right now.
Come listen to it yourself @ CES 2013 in January. I will be at the Palms Casino with Rockford Fosgate and the ISF will be on display!
Rockford doesnt "sponsor" me like people think. I get some discounts, i get to try some prototype's before they come out and things like that, but when it comes down to it, 9 times out of ten, i flat out BUY what i need. Ask anyone who know's me, i am the type that insists on paying my own way. Oh ill take a deal or two, dont get me wrong! But when i need something, i don't beg for it, i just buy it. Most of the stuff in this ride, RF didn't know i was doing, i just did it. Thanks man!

I didn't realize that your Lexus had that much going on musically. However, I'm extremely impressed. Hope to one day be able to do something similar. And also , long live the memory of Stevie Ray Vaughan. I caught that little sound bit .
that song has a killer beginning....the drum and then the dude plucking the bass strings....i don't always reference it but it sure did sound good on the new tuning so i had to use it :)
the ISF will be at CES with Rockford in the Palms Casino (their booth) in January. The Tahoe was there 3 years ago. The Tahoe would get kicked out of SEMA in 5 minutes if i brought it so that would be a waste. LOL

I know this an old video but this is very impressive. I know your Lexus sounds like a THX certified theater.
by the way, you don't "need" this much equipment, a basic RTA, trained ears and an Iasca disc (along with some familiar "SQ" type songs") is all you need for any processor, even the 3sixty.3. I just so happened to get the royal treatment with the badass equipment they brought. I posted it because its pretty interesting shit, but you can use less sophisticated equipment. I usually use a single mic and Termlab RTA.

me too. I had the Tahoe 12 years almost so its time i loved something new. I still love both but the lex is my daily now.
oh, and ya bro it was very nice of them to come out! Its a true honor! not many people can say "brand x" flew out to tune my ride. I just wanted to point out though that i do pay for a lot of stuff and its not just a "free ride". :) The freebies and discounts i do score from time to time were earned though so nothing is truly just "handed" to me. Any relationship (with a company) goes both ways :)
That has to be the cleanest install on a Lexus out there right now, period.
the ipad mini is bluetoothing DIRECTLY to the 3sixty.3 so i use master volume for that. If i am using the factory deck, i use either/or.
RF is a preference. Also, the T5 speakers have INCREDIBLE SQ so i can't go wrong there.
Must be nice to be a Rockford sponsor and have them come and pro tune your system.

the amps are set with a DD-1. I am fully active so i don't use onboard crossovers. The dd-a and cc-1 have nothing to do with Eq'ng and time alignment.
AZA Forged 3 Piece 20's. Search it on youtube, i showed them being made from the ground up specifically for this car.....from the measurements to the CNC, to the paint, to the RE-Paint (went all black). Its all on YT.
if you have a lot more power on your sub then it can handle, in your case double, i would try the 0db track for the deck AND the amplifier. Normally i would use -5 or -10 but in your case you need to back it off some. Keep your eye on it! Thanks man!

nahhh no time, they had to leave. I've already done a lot of tuning in it on my own though. Its got (of course) 2 3sixty.2's in it.
I'm not very informed on audio but when I saw the computers I thought, "holy shit, this must sound CLEAN as hell!!!" Talkin' bout clean on some crazy level.

then do it yourself, like i normally do. I just got lucky they decided to come and help. That don't mean i HAD to have them come over.
its not "installed" yet. Its up in the visor. I am testing to see if i like it there and then i am going to mold it in. I ordered a new visor from Lexus so when it gets here, the molding begins. I like it in that spot so far and really, there isn't any place in the dash to put it. I can't block my factory deck i still use it, plus it controls the climate, phone and other shit.

actually, the bluetooth sounds pretty damn clean.
it will only pair with one device at a time....and it is PW protected too like any device you would pair.

i use Sol Republic "Tracks HD"....best headphones i have ever owned. I bought dre's recently and they suck compared to these IMO. I took the dre's back.

I have a minor system now that slaps pretty good but nothing to your extent. All of the Rockford Equipment + Mic Array + RTA = Audison BitTune.
You should change your interior dome lights to blue LEDs. It would compliment the blue rpm needle and the volume lights next to your seat. Plus, it would make your ISF even more sick. Love how it turned out man!

The ma amp needs lots of current. Its you switch it out with a more efficient amp the voltage issue might be less drastic
