As an American, I can say that I love the design of Australian Locomotives, they seem really quaint and unique compared to all of the engines that run on our freight trains.
These two are a rare few that have been in operation since the 1950s and 1970s. Many of our newer engines aren't very unique and don't compare to the American stuff I've seen in the Pilbara and on TH-cam. That's why it's always nice to go see some of this stuff when we can. Matt - M&S Trains
S307 basically had with paint work done when SRHC acquired it a couple of months prior! The volunteers do a really great job on making both locomotives look fresh! Matt - M&S Trains

Both loco’s look in mint condition, it’s as if they have just returned from the paint shop.
