It’s a grip in the reverse manner particularly with draw-in method, but blade-out method is also incorporated. The folder is designed by Craig Douglas from ShivWorks, his personalized tactical training system. His system is based from his Narcotics experience and various martial arts, partly from FMA, Pekiti Tirsia Kali (PTK). Which I exclusively train-in and teach for years. I have the Fixed Blade version, The “Reverse”. Which is a collaborative design with both Craig Douglas & Michael Janich. Thanks dude you too! And I’ve only owned one actual Emerson, it was an old A100 and I didn’t really like it. I dig some of his designs though 👍🏻
