    I bought the 525LST on your recommendation last year, best trimmer I have ever owned. I question the ability of any electric trimmer to tackle tall weeds for an hour. The 525 does it without flinching. The 525 will be just as powerful in 20 years as it is today, but those batteries will be replaced multiple times at enormous cost in next 20 years. Lithium batteries decline not just by cycles but also by age. 50% of EV owners say they will be switching back to gas on their next vehicle. Once you live with lithium batteries, their limitations show up. Great for short use, but cannot survive long term hard use.

    Does the smaller battery’s fit the 525ilst or is it just the 200 200x and 300

    Nice set up. I'm running a Milwaukee quick lok pole saw and the quick lok edger. Love them both.

    Can you give me a link to that leaf catcher/“sweeper” attachment on the hedge trimmer. I’ve been looking for one but can’t find them available anywhere on this side of the pond.

    I am defintely considering making the leap. Just curious, how many batteries do you use in a day? Again, I realize there are different variables but if you weedeat a lot then I'd assume I would use less. All my yards are small residential anyway.

      @@exterminator1 like your channel man it’s full of good info. I got a new 525LST the other day. It’s a mark 2 so it’s not the famous one but it’s decent for a homeowner. The thing has a rattling sound on low rpm’s like there’s a bolt rolling around in there. I tightened everything up as far as bolts on the exterior but it’s still rattling. Gonna have to take it in for warranty work before it ever gets used unfortunately

    You must not be full time or a serious operator. No one around me uses battery stuff that’s making a living at this.

    • @electric6877
      @electric6877 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Yeah, no crews don't but we have to remember that a lot of crews aren't actually "professional". It's usually people that get rotated around and quit within less than a year or two. Their ROI is high because they find everything possible to maximize profit on even if it sacrifices quality. We run a lawn/landscaping company that's a 2/3 person operation and run mostly battery products now. I have enough batteries to run for almost 2 full days now without recharging lol

    • @exterminator1
      @exterminator1  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @robertfootball1 You are absolutely wrong, in every word, of that reply. You must not do this for a living. The sentence 'no one around me uses battery stuff' is the sign. Cuz if you owned and operated a business you would be to busy to know or worry about what others do. Who cares what they do? Make your life better by focusing on yourself. Be the trend setter. I was first using stand on around here and people said what ur saying to me now. Well now they are everywhere. Be a trend setter not a follower. Battery is superior in hand held equipment. If I'm wrong come back to your comment and let me know in 5 years
