I know someone who almost ran over a jackelope while riding their bike...I didn't believe him but years later looked them up online, and found out they are rabbits that grow horn-like antlers due to suffering papilloma virus.
I love when you go to Cryptid and UFO festivals. Looking at the vendor tables always gets my creative juices flowing.
Oh wow, I never knew that Wytheville is actually a hotspot for UFO activity and I have lived an hour away in Bristol, VA my entire life!
This is better than a Comicon convention. It really lets the creatives shine. Great coverage!
I lived most of my life in Pascagoula and was able to meet one of the men who was abducted. It’s a strange little town there

If you ever do make it down there’s an alligator air boat tour in the same town and a historic battleship and submarine in Mobile nearby!

Puckwudgies and fairies are so nostalgic for me as a kid my nature camp I went to had this old hollow tree by the creek was there home. We would leave little trinkets behind like acorns, seeds, little stones, one time a pineapple, and other stuff. One of my favorite batch of criptid/myth cause they gave so many fond memories of going in the woods to find them

So, in freakin mad!!! I live 30 minutes away from Wytheville ( a little town called Galax)and travel there frequently. I had no idea this was going on nor that it was a thing!!!!! I'm so sad right now 😢 I'm just gonna go cry now. And now I'm craving a Skeeter dog

Oh man, I had no idea Wytheville had a UFO Fest! That town, and Bolling Wilson Hotel and ate at Skeeters! What a thrill to see you there! And yeah, those dogs were GOOD! Wytheville was my last stop when I drove from Las Vegas to Burke, VA to be with my fiancee and start a new life together.

We had a stuffed ET when I was a kid and I was petrified of it! At one point it ended up in my closet and that was too much for me lol.

I have to put my plug in for the Adirondack Balloon Festival in September. New York State between Lake George & Saratoga Springs. Tough thing about balloon festivals is that they are so dependent on weather (especially wind).
I would really like it if you could let us know of a convention like this on the west coast. I’m from AZ but would love to attend a show like this

Talk of a new cryptid from NC, the Lake Norman monster. supposed to be like a giant leech or snake thing that was created through power plant emissions. Actually caught a glimpse of something weird one time on the lake that matches the description
Fun fact, Pascagoula is the setting for a Vincent Price audio ghost story called "Bond of Reunion".

Faguely remember a show called "Project Blue Book".
I have no doubt whatsoever about the existence of intelligent extraterrestrial life. I have, in fact, seen what can only be called a U.F.O on multiple occasions. I'm not sure if the Government has made contact with them, as some suggest, but it's possible.

After being stationed in Pascagoula, MS., I can’t think of any reason an alien would visit. A paper mill and shipyard. Not much else. Maybe they came for a local mud bug boil?

I remember, when I was a kid in 1973 and saw the story of the two fisherman that were abducted by the three silver robot like aliens. You can tell the young man was scared out of his mind when he was interviewed. I think it was called the Pascagoula, Mississippi abduction.

universe is too big and we only started to explore and send satelites etc out into space "couple" years ago and we have not even made it past our moon yet... but 100% there are aliens somewhere if the universe realy is infinite!

To assume that humans are THE ONLY intelligent life in the entire universe is ludacris. That'd be like picking up one grain of sand on the beach and saying, this is the only grain on this entire beach with bacteria on it.
