Juice is just making these videos to glaze liney 😭 (he is still not better) Also artifact set wise gildet dreams is also a very solid option for hu tao. On my hu tao it was a slight upgrade cuz i had those pieces laying around after farming for the whole of 3.x.
he is absolutely better, have you not tried vape lyney or at least tried to look up runs for it if you think arle is good, then so is lyney. because their dmg is almost equal in vape at c0r1

Shimenawa's is easily my pick. You don't want to farm Crimson Witch because the other set in the domain suuuucks. Meanwhile, Emblem is an amazing set. And if you give Hu Tao enough ER, you can certainly burst routinely. You have to make a choice between bursting routinely and not in terms of how much ER you grab, but I disagree with Juice to ignore it. I believe it's a better choice to just get the ER needed to overcome the ER drain. Also, maybe this is a skill issue, but I hate Xilonen on Furina teams. Jean-Yelan-Furina is my go-to with C1.
I can't say whether or not it is a skill issue at c1 but at c2+ on Furina - Xilonen is amazing. I am a HuTao main and my abyss clears are stupid now with c2 Xilonen and I don't even have her weapons yet (will get next rerun, ran outta primos and I need to eat)
please dont put er on hu tao 😭. Her burst is literally just 2 charged attacks worth of dmg. A nice bonus at the end or a panic heal but definitely not enough to justify using pieces w more er over pieces w more crit/hp/em

I wish people would talk a bit more about that: Hu Tao has one of the lowest base ATK of ALL CHARACTERS! It's at 100 or so while most 5 star characters have 300 if it's their scaling. And she has 2nd highest base HP 150 points behind Dehya. So even high base ATK 5* weapons can't redeem ATK% on her. With Dragon's bane, HP% will give twice as much ATK through the conversion of her skill than ATK% does. Fun fact: with Staff of the scarlet sands, Hu Tao gains almost as much ATK from an average EM roll or main stat as ATK%, and on top of that her EM will give dmg boost for vape. Xiangling in my opinion is better than Zhongli for her. You already get 0.3 poise resistance from Xingqiu, some healing from his swords as well as Hu Tao's own emergency panic button and her own 0.5 poise resistance in terms of survivability. On top of that, Xiangling can easily trigger something like instructor, even if you lose some damage from Xiangling herself if you just wanna buff Hu Tao. Otherwise, her constellations give 15% pyro RES shred, barely less than Zhongli which is his only significant buff here, and 15% pyro dmg bonus at c6. I don't even see how Zhongli was ever an argument for Hu Tao unless you can't dodge or have other personal survivability issues.
I gave my hu tao em goblet coz i dont have pyro goblet and how tf i got 39 percent crit damage in it idk should i replace it with pyro in future or should i keep that one ??????

No Baizhu? I think he has great potential in Furina teams, probably the best would be hu Tao, Furina, Yelan and Baizhu, but maybe replacing Yelan for Emilie will have good results as well. I'm done farming for Hu Tao, I finally got her C1 after years of loosing that 50/50 lmao. Now hopefully I can try for Baizhu after Mavuika, but we'll have to see, it seems Mavuika release will overlap with Latern Rite...

depends-what othercharacters do you have? Otther supports good for the director do include diona layla sucrose-she has lots of options stars wise. Even a c6 fischl for an overvape tteams does wonder as well
@@mesbah07 I'd say a xingqiu diona sucrose team would do fine for you rn. Get a better healer if you can in the future-because furina would be a huge boost to your acc.

I'd say save up starglitter and try your luck in the shop soon or wait for Lantern Rite and pick up xingqiu there. Aside from him tho-you can try overload hu tao(you do need chevreuse tho. But honestly speaking, it just feels like you need more characters atm-your team options are currently restrictive.

How do you pick the thumbnail numbers? Do you have a random selection of small and big numbers you pick from or are they actual team dps numbers from a poorly built and well built Hu Tao?
Not sure how good banners are in terms of pulls these days because I've been saving up, but man I really want Homa, and MAYBE C1 Hu, I heard it's a huge difference if you got her at C1, maybe worth it in a chronicle wish rather than her own banner but safe to say, both C1 and Homa is stupid worth it, but I want saves for Mavuika, what do ya'll think?
c1 hu tao isn't as worth nowadays, if you have xianyun, you will be plunging more, doing more damage on average, otherwise xilonen is another replacement.
Hu Tao is not worth it anymore, but personally I think she is fun to play and she is not a weak character. If you want, now is your time to get C1. BUT I do not recommend getting Homa.
Save for Mavuika. Hu Tao is single target oriented with no off field pyro application- there's a reason xiangling is so popular. Same for Arlecchino who's got better aoe. Tao's good but limited. Hopefully Mavuika doesn't disappoint
@@emmanuelnnam funny thing is, hu tao actually has some off field pyro, (it's very situational and only works in single target, but her blood blossom triggers often enough to let Mualani vape all 3 of her hits, she can also help maintain a burning aura for Kinich)
I don't understand what I did wrong. I spent the past month or so getting a pretty amazing build for her and she barely hits 10k with her skill what in the world did I do wrong?
you cant have her on 25% or less hp frequently, you would have to use her skill a lot of times and it doest work with any healer/furina. in abyss where you start with full hp you would have shit crit rate until you proc the c6 and its a lot of dmg loss. your c6 build would be minimum crit rate as possible so when the c6 is not activated your hutao sucks thats basically it
@ ohh alright, lwk just pulled for her c6 after 5 months of saving and ended up w c4, I regret it so bad bro these cons are hideous, it’s so bad that my hu Tao went from top 28% to top 28%
Her c6 is one of the worst 5str c6s that there are. 100 crate is a good amt but realistically nobody is going to have just 5% crit on their tao since ull have crate somewhere else so ull lose a bunch of value there. The bigger problems are that 1) She needs to be below 25% which isnt possible in the first rotation which means the first rotation u either use some crit rate (which then makes her c6 have even less value) or u do like awful dmg for the first rotation since u wont be critting at all 2) It has a 1 min cooldown which isnt as bad but if you dont one rotate (cuz there are a lot of waves or somt) then u will be in big trouble since she will be without any crit for 2 whole rotations (a rotation is usually around 20s). This is the reason u usually see c6 hu tao in abyss recently unless its only bosses most ppl start out with a c6 yelan or furina since they actually do a shit ton of dmg by themselves and doesnt allows hu tao to use her 20s of glory properly (The idea is clear the easier mobs using furina and yelan and then swap to hu tao and kill the tankier mobs w tao in one rotation) 3) Most other c6s are just plain better without the restriction and contradictiveness that taos c6 comes w lol. Neuv just has infinite beam with a shit ton more dmg, furina is one of the best dps in the game at c6, wanderer is too, yelan is pretty broken too etc etc. Its just a very outdated c6 that doesnt hold very well and frankly wasnt very good even back then. It was only particularly good for those huge screenshot numbers but never for actual use
When Mavuika releases it may be the final nail in the coffin for the funeral director as a fire DPS. Fingers crossed I'm wrong. I want there to be new artefacts with Mavuika that could breathe new life into Hu Tao as a fire DPS...
I haven't confirmed this, but leaks are suggesting the pyro archon can be both a main dps or a sub dps, similar to Raiden. No idea how she will compare with Tao as a main dps. It's possible the two units will work well together instead of stealing each other's spotlight. We need more information. Hopefully we'll get it in the three weeks our silly funeral director's on the banner.
Is Hunter better with furina over crimson? Bc my friend says with similar stats, crimson does much more dmg per hit. I dont own a hutao so i can't test it myself. But i keep hearing its Bis but don't get why
Cyno and hutao both want all of the field time. Waaay better off playing them in separate teams tailored to their kits. If you have a xingqiu and furina, you can run those two with hu tao. The healer would be up to whatever you have, or you could use a decent shielder instead of a healer, but a healer would probably be better.
Furina is literally in both of hu taos best casual dmg teams tho...? Hu tao furina yelan xilonen is extremely strong and so is Hu tao furina yelan bennett(C1 needed for this team to be particularly good) and so is hu tao furina yelan xianyun (c1 doesnt do anything here)
do not get HuTao, she's clunky to play with her CA mech.. Only OG Hutao havers play her to this day. coz why not she still performs.. Arle is better and easy to play.. (I dont have her tho) it's an honest opinion.. but if you like to get them, why not?
I find it funny that the majority of people saying Arlecchino and Neuvilette are the only characters you need are usually new players that have neither character You can beat this game’s abyss with literal 4 star only teams. Just get who you like and enjoy the game
I have Neuvillette and Hu Tao and Arlecchino.. My Hu Tao and Arlecchino are equal in terms of dps with 6 gold teams.. Neuvillette is slightly worse in single target but great in AoE.. Also never found her clunky to play, whether ca or plunge nowadays.
Go for Nahida and instead of C1 hutao save for Xianyun(only if u have Furina), Hutao Xianyun Furina Xingqiu (Yelan) this team is Hutao best team for now you don't even need her c1 in this team
If you use c6 Bennett c0 Xianyun c0 Furina c0 Hu Tao, you can get over 200k plunges, depending on your build. The highest ca tho in most f2p teams is over 100k only.. 300k+ is whale territory.
Yeah that was weird considering xilonen is only competing with bennett for that last slot in double hydro and imo xilonen is just better for most ppl since u dont have to deal w circle impact
It has Crit and ATK but just that. The problem is that she doesn't really want burgeon teams. It would be better if you just stick with white tessel and leave Emilie's sign to other characters.

Save for Mavuika. Hu Tao is single target oriented with no off field pyro application- there's a reason xiangling is so popular. Same for Arlecchino who's got better aoe. Tao's good but limited. Hopefully Mavuika doesn't disappoint
@@emmanuelnnam funny thing is, hu tao actually has some off field pyro, (it's very situational and only works in single target, but her blood blossom triggers often enough to let Mualani vape all 3 of her hits, she can also help maintain a burning aura for Kinich)

you cant have her on 25% or less hp frequently, you would have to use her skill a lot of times and it doest work with any healer/furina. in abyss where you start with full hp you would have shit crit rate until you proc the c6 and its a lot of dmg loss. your c6 build would be minimum crit rate as possible so when the c6 is not activated your hutao sucks thats basically it

Her c6 is one of the worst 5str c6s that there are. 100 crate is a good amt but realistically nobody is going to have just 5% crit on their tao since ull have crate somewhere else so ull lose a bunch of value there. The bigger problems are that
1) She needs to be below 25% which isnt possible in the first rotation which means the first rotation u either use some crit rate (which then makes her c6 have even less value) or u do like awful dmg for the first rotation since u wont be critting at all
2) It has a 1 min cooldown which isnt as bad but if you dont one rotate (cuz there are a lot of waves or somt) then u will be in big trouble since she will be without any crit for 2 whole rotations (a rotation is usually around 20s). This is the reason u usually see c6 hu tao in abyss recently unless its only bosses most ppl start out with a c6 yelan or furina since they actually do a shit ton of dmg by themselves and doesnt allows hu tao to use her 20s of glory properly (The idea is clear the easier mobs using furina and yelan and then swap to hu tao and kill the tankier mobs w tao in one rotation)
3) Most other c6s are just plain better without the restriction and contradictiveness that taos c6 comes w lol. Neuv just has infinite beam with a shit ton more dmg, furina is one of the best dps in the game at c6, wanderer is too, yelan is pretty broken too etc etc. Its just a very outdated c6 that doesnt hold very well and frankly wasnt very good even back then. It was only particularly good for those huge screenshot numbers but never for actual use
When Mavuika releases it may be the final nail in the coffin for the funeral director as a fire DPS.

I haven't confirmed this, but leaks are suggesting the pyro archon can be both a main dps or a sub dps, similar to Raiden. No idea how she will compare with Tao as a main dps. It's possible the two units will work well together instead of stealing each other's spotlight. We need more information. Hopefully we'll get it in the three weeks our silly funeral director's on the banner.
Is Hunter better with furina over crimson? Bc my friend says with similar stats, crimson does much more dmg per hit. I dont own a hutao so i can't test it myself. But i keep hearing its Bis but don't get why

If you have a xingqiu and furina, you can run those two with hu tao. The healer would be up to whatever you have, or you could use a decent shielder instead of a healer, but a healer would probably be better.

I have Neuvillette and Hu Tao and Arlecchino.. My Hu Tao and Arlecchino are equal in terms of dps with 6 gold teams.. Neuvillette is slightly worse in single target but great in AoE.. Also never found her clunky to play, whether ca or plunge nowadays.

If you use c6 Bennett c0 Xianyun c0 Furina c0 Hu Tao, you can get over 200k plunges, depending on your build. The highest ca tho in most f2p teams is over 100k only.. 300k+ is whale territory.
