We have a camp a couple miles up the road on mc George rd. I’ve fished there my whole life always empty I love it. I caught 35 crappies on the drain in one morning and I’ll never forget that. I’ve seen 20 elk in field to left. A 5 ft musky rolling in the morning fog. A blue herring being chased around by the osprey that nest there which I think is a nesting program from the DCNR. If anyone goes here be there 15 mins before sunrise and fishing is phenomenal for first 2 hrs of morning. Regardless what time though it’s a beautiful place. Also don’t forget bug spray.
