      What is meant by *heaven* and *hell?*
      *Ibn al-Qayyim* (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
      As a matter of fact, Paradise is not a word that refers only to trees, fruits, food, drink, hoor al-‘een, rivers and palaces. Most people are mistaken when they think that Paradise is limited to that, for Paradise is a name for the abode of perfect and absolute bliss, and one of the *greatest joys of Paradise will be the pleasure of gazing upon the noble Countenance of Allah and hearing His words, and the delight of being close to Him and attaining His pleasure.* There can be no comparison between the physical pleasures in Paradise - such as food, drink, clothing and images - and that pleasure. *Attaining the least divine pleasure is greater than Paradise and all that it contains,* as Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): “But the good pleasure of Allah is greater still” [at-Tawbah 9:72]. In other words, no matter the extent to which Allah is pleased with His slave, even if it is small, it is still greater than Paradise.
      In the saheeh hadith about seeing Allah, it says: “… and Allah will not give them anything that is dearer to them than gazing upon His Countenance.” According to another hadith: “When He, may He be glorified, manifests Himself to them and they see His Countenance with their own eyes, they will forget all the bliss that they had been enjoying, and will become oblivious to that joy and will pay no attention to it.”
      Undoubtedly, this is how it is, And the matter is much greater than one could think or imagine, especially when the lovers there find themselves with the one whom they love, for a person will be with the one whom he loves. What bliss, delight, joy or triumph could come close to the joy, pleasure and tranquillity of being with Allah? Is there anything superior to the pleasure and joy of being close to the Beloved, for there is nothing greater than Him, or more perfect, or more beautiful, and nothing could give greater comfort and happiness?
      This - by Allah - is the type of knowledge that the lovers are striving hard to attain, and is the banner around which all those who have knowledge of Allah rally. It is the most important thing in Paradise, through which Paradise becomes a place of joy, and the life of Paradise is based on that.
      So how can it be said that one should not worship Allah for the sake of attaining Paradise or for fear of Hell?
      *Similarly, Hell* - may Allah protect us from it - is a place where its dwellers will suffer a great deal when they are partitioned away from Allah and suffer disgrace, divine wrath and anger, and being far away from Him. That will be worse than the flames of fire in their bodies and souls. In fact, the flames of this fire in their hearts is what led to the flames burning their bodies, for those flames spread everywhere in their bodies from their hearts.
      The aspiration of the Prophets and Messengers, the siddeeqs (the strong and true in faith), the martyrs and the righteous is Paradise, and what they seek to flee from is Hell.
      And Allah is the source of strength, and in Him we put our trust. There is no power and no strength except with Allah; Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.
      {Madaarij as-Saalikeen (2/80, 81)}
      { *Remember* -
      Spread the right knowledge about Islam to Muslims or Non-Muslims is considered a Sadaqah Jaariyah.}.

So how can it be said that one should not worship Allah for the sake of attaining Paradise or for fear of Hell?
      *Similarly, Hell* - may Allah protect us from it - is a place where its dwellers will suffer a great deal when they are partitioned away from Allah and suffer disgrace, divine wrath and anger, and being far away from Him. That will be worse than the flames of fire in their bodies and souls. In fact, the flames of this fire in their hearts is what led to the flames burning their bodies, for those flames spread everywhere in their bodies from their hearts.

    Man that point that Tate makes where the Arabic is daunting I can sooooooo relate to that. When I was a new Muslim someone said to me "Let's go pray Asr!" I was like what is "Asr?" The brother said "Asr the middle prayer.. Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr ,Maghrib and Isha. ... The feeling of how daunting it was for me listening to just the names of the prayers made was so incredibly intimidating... 15 years later .. alhumduilillah. May Allah guide many more to Islam.

I have done much, much worse than Brother Andrew and allah swt forgave me. If you are a muslim, try not to judge others, just incase the same sins happen to you and your family. There was a muslim man who judged a woman for being a prostitute. His wife and daughter wore niqab. Soon they stopped wearing anything. They became drug addicts along with the daughter becoming a prostitute, and the son sold the drugs to both of them. Be wary of allah swt!! Fear Allah!

The greatest thing you will receive in Islam is the real link with your Creator and He will manifest His Reality into your heart and show you His Immeasurable Signs within you and across the Universe till you are assured and re assured you are upon the Truth. Nobody learns and models their life on one hadith, esp without using the Quran.
      1. She must be menstruating and be considered a woman by her society.
      2. She must consent herself 3 times.
      3. She must have one male guardian or two female guardians agree and witness her consent to the marriage.
      Now, for the specific of her age. There are other hadith that state she was 19. Or she was 25. Shia Muslims completely reject any hadith from Bukhari. I'm Sunni. I'm just pointing out your mistake in thinking 1.7 billion Muslims model their faith around one hadith without context.
      The fact of the matter is - one single hadith cannot counter the overall requirements for marriage listed in the Quran. She *must* be considered a woman by her society capable of giving witnessed consent by HER side of the family who also consent.

I was shaken in to conviction and I had absolutely no control, in that moment I prayed to God because I knew he was the one with control. He moved that cow instantly!
      3 days later, my soul just knew that Jesus is Lord, and I reached a point or pure and exhaustion from suffering. I cried out to Jesus, and he delivered me from darkness. I literally felt spirits come out of me in the name of Jesus Christ. His name is the highest authority in the spirit realm. My womb was instantly healed after 3 years of having peri-menopausal symptoms, I quit smoking on the spot and my heart felt like it was wrapped in a warm blanket of peace. That underlying peace has never left my heart, and I was left with a thirst to read all of the bible and know Jesus and develop a personal relationship with Him.
      I’ve suggested to many Muslims “call out to God and ask Him for the truth about Jesus.”
      Most refuse to do so and say there is no point because they already know who Jesus is. The Quran’s version of Jesus is not the real Jesus. The Quran totally omits his crucifixion.

      {Madaarij as-Saalikeen (2/80, 81)}
      { *Remember* -
      Spread the right knowledge about Islam to Muslims or Non-Muslims is considered a Sadaqah Jaariyah.}

There is nothing in Islam that prohibits a discussion of ‘ilm between a man and a woman. Our Prophet pbuh literally did it himself while imparting his knowledge. What matters is to stay true to ourselves and stop should we sense anything haram growing. Its taqwa after all, and above that imaan.

      I am interested in having a genuine and civil conversation with any Muslim who is willing. The following constitutes the core issue I have with the doctrine of the Quran and this reason greatly contributes to why I believe it is false.
      The main premise of my argument is that in various verses the Quran lies about being clear and explained in detail.
      The following is not clear/explained either because Muslims cannot comprehend the issue or because Muslim sects disagree on the topic. Here is my argument. Surah Al-Iklhas 112:4 states that there is nothing comparable to Allah/nothing like unto him وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌۢ
      However...the Quran repeatedly describes Allah as having hands, feet etc. This is a CLEAR contradiction within the Quran! Muslims do not unanimously agree whether this is metaphorical or literal. So how is the Quran clear guidance if the people who follow it disagree??
      Moreover, a common defense is to say that the hands, feet, etc. of Allah are not like us. They are unique. There is only one problem though. Even if you wish to argue this you would still have to concede that when the Quran uses these words they are *meaningless*! Why are they meaningless? Because a hand is something a human has. A foot is something a human has.

    • @Western.war_editz
      @Western.war_editz 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Quran is using confusing language if Muslims hold the belief that these physicalities of Allah are not comparable to our physicalities. If the Quran wanted to make a valid distinction between Allah and humans then it would have not used this language which is evidently NOT clear or completely explained.

      Unless your name goes against islam, there is no reason for converts to change it. In fact its better if they dont because it will show the world how diverse the ummah is. We will have muslims with every name from Andrew to Ahmed.

      @@Muslimx100 First, congratulations. May Allah bless you and your loved ones. I heard Sheikh Uthman talks about this in his video with Boby. I recall he said that if there is a credible hospital to perform the operation safely with no medical side effects what so ever then you should. Otherwise, your health is more important and Allah knows what lies in your heart. you can listen to the three hour video and look for this part. it is very informative... Salam
