This mod is great!! Amazing work!! Maybe it would be cool to have resprites of the characters or items... but that is asking a bit too much kskd
@@SaltyCrabOfficial Items are being worked on as we speak funnily enough! Some of them are even currently in the mod (like a lot of familiars for example). Characters are still a bit iffy though.

The aesthetic and effort are absolutely NUTS in this. Using the description mod looks like it helped a lot. Also I loved the boss reskins the most!
Would you believe if I said that Steel Mask (Chub) and its variants are among my favorite bosses in the mod? I just grew weirdly attached to them during development and I just really love that giant metal worm too much for my own good.
The bosses are really cool. I went to mother with mod this and it’s insane my favorite part was thedeath animation but I did almost die because of everything being a bit more flashy and colorful.
@@bee8328 @Bee I really want to get into mods, but I'm so stubborn on "Let me 100% a game first" that I miss out. This one looks so good tho. Good thing youtubers exist so I can at least vicariously experience it since I'LL NEVER BE GOOD ENOUGH AT THE GAME TO FINISH iT LOLOL.
I haven't even unlocked a tainted character. Lilith is the character that makes me rage most. I actually think I'm decent at the game itself, but you have to be at least semi-godly to even finish a save file. XD

This mod is still pretty WIP, but at least it's playable. We still got some stuff to do, like items, cutscenes, some miscelaneous stuff, and even mod compatibilities!
(Also, sorry for some of the custom rooms like the one at 1:40, I thought we disabled the custom rooms, but seems like they are still there) 'o_o
Thank you for working on the mod, looking forward to it for my overly modded runs, it makes the game feel completely different even if it's literally just a reskin! (at least for now it looks; also don't take this statement as me undervaluing the mod, if I say something like this it's because the work is phenomenal)
It gives Isaac this very hard arcade game feel, more close to EtG with a really stylish and fresh coat of paint!

Oh so the laser room should be the cursed room in normal Isaac but apparently they give always an item with mobs from mausoleum instead of being a random room. Still pretty sick mod, hope to see it kore polished soon
This reskin definitely deserves at least two more videos, one for Beast and one for Mother
Heya! I’m one of the trinket sprite artists and I wanna say that in the next few or more updates we will slowly be updating the item sprites, but it’s understandable if you don’t want to play the mod again. Regardless, thanks so much for playing our mod! ^w^
Nah I'm pretty sure that once the mod is more polished and complete Hutts will go back to it, more likely on the second channel (stream vods) for the third dead good save file, something that he said will try to do. It is honestly one of the better looking mods out there already, props to you and the whole team!

That mod was one of the most impressive re skins I've ever seen
it's hard to believe this was 2 years ago. ever since you showcased this, i've been using it nonstop. this is just what isaac looks like to me now, also most of the items have been reskinned at this point. thanks for making a video on it.
imagine putting your heart and soul into a complete reskin of the game just for hutts to oneshot every boss and say "hey that reskin was kind of annoying" lmfaooo

To be fair that's kinda just how Isaac is, you get really good and you just kinda destroy everything. You'd have to intentionally play horribly to show things off, or do whatever the hell Gellot does and only use a loadout of at most 5 mediocre-quality items.

This reskin somehow makes the game so much easier on the eyes. I don’t know how to explain it, but maybe I’ve raged in vanilla texture Isaac for so long I’ve associated my frustration with it, and seeing the same game but in a different art style just seems more peaceful
Absolutely beautiful. I love the artistic direction of the mod, it's so much nicer to look at than all the poop and blood and gorey child stuff. I quit because I got tired of the artstyle of the game, but this looks refreshing and revigorating, and so fun to play and look at!
Looking at somenthing like this is just weird for me,i guess i am used to the creepy/cartoon graphic of original isaac

What an awesome looking mod. Definitely not your style it looks like, but it's very obvious that it's a labor of love. I enjoy seeing stuff like this and it's nice to know that the modding community is doing as they do best and practically making new games out of existing ones lol!
So, this was just a mod, imagine these people made a whole game from scratch, that shit would do numbers. Hutts can you please play some more of this mod and show different paths? I don't think 1 video is enough to showcase a mod this big.

You would not believe how weird it was to get it included?? Like it was oddly difficult but everybody loves it now.
I really liked the reskin because it’s so damn awesome, and I’m frankly super interested in what the super bosses like hush and delirium look like.
This mod is actually amazing, really love the amount of work and effort put into it, you can tell it's definitely something the devs love doing and I 100% will download this in the future.
Hutts definitely needs to showcase Beast for that C o p y r i g h t e d M u s i c during the beast fight

This mod is genuinely perfect for getting new people into Isaac since it isn’t so gory or off putting.
I absolutely love this! The retro style, plus the more robotic and also scp concept is amazing! Def gonna use this!
This reskin is genuinely really good for people who are grossed out by isaacs original style, it becomes a story of escaping an experiment lab (and from what i observe, youre actually escaping to the surface from floor 1) rather than a child coping the divorce and disarray of his family life by imagining a game
I honestly love this. The guts and gore of Isaac gets old after a while, which is why I prefer mods like the binding of undertale and especially this one. It was done super well and I'll probably be using it as much as I can

This mod is super sick, I would definitely watch/play a game with this palate, but I think you're right in saying it's a little weird for Isaac. That being said I'll probably add it to my Isaac anyways :)

the funny thing is is that its all family friendly sci fi stuff but the items are still pentagrams and blood and organs or body parts

Oh Deep Laboratories! My best friend is one of the people who worked on this mod! They were in charge of some art things and coding. I remember playing the early versions of this mod with them to find bugs and glitches. It's so fucking cool someone like you is playing it Hutts!

personally i like this reskin a lot. i know you said you wouldn't use it in the future, but i can imagine some pretty fun challenges being used with this mod!!

Hutts, would u potentially stream this mod some time? I understand it looks stressful the enemy reskining could be difficult for dodging. But I'd just love the full run through experience. But i do appreciate the level of editing that goes into the main channels content. But the raw emotion and experience that is displayed throughout every stream is extremely terrific. Just fantastic. But this mod was amazing and I'd definitely watch a full run.
You should play the rest of the final bosses, because I would totally watch those videos. This was very entertaining, and the reskin was really cool.

The color scheme and general design remind me of the toy factory area from the 2008 remake of Pipe Mania.

If you didn't know hutts this was made in ab+ but they updated the sprites and everything for repentance

There is a Mod called „Always Void“ that guarantees the void portal to spawn (You can use mod config menu to choose which bosses should guarantee a spawn). I know that it kinda feels like cheating but personally I never understood the reason to make the portal a 50/50 shot after MS so I think it’s a great mod

honestly I’d use this mod if some of the enemy designs didn’t look so much like anime girls - kinda throws off the general vibe of the game for me
maybe if they made a version that changed the anime girls into revamped robo-monsters instead… 🤔 I’d play that fs because the loading screens are dope and the effort is insane
Funny enough, it's the original Afterbirth version of the mod that fits your description more. A lot of the bosses and enemies are more like robotic versions of Isaac enemies rather than a complete overhaul. Though a lot of things like the loading screens are still base game

I think you should have done it on the main file. Tech was a better run but I think the first was more fun to watch
The mod looks cool, but maybe with some more item reskins, or maybe some new items or unlocks, it would give more incentive to play more .
This mod is only reskins (and like a single custom character whose items are exclusive to them). But item reskins _are_ on the way. Just know that it's gonna take a very long time.
i feel like this would be a reskin for china or other countries with harsh restrictions for gore to allow access to isaac to people! but also noting they still don’t allow religious notions

This is a great mod for those that don't want to play a game about poop, boogers, and guts!
Uncertain as to why, but installing this mod completely bricked my game. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling Isaac, I’ve uninstalled the mod. No matter what I try I can’t get past the first 2 seconds of the load screen before it abruptly crashes :/ I was super stoked to try this mod out too
