Love them all Lisa but I do agree with you the last 3 are my favorite!
Me too!!
I love every single one .. but that set of 3 at the end is just my absolute favourite !!! And I wouldn't wanna let them go at all either 🤣🤣🤣 they look great in the wall 😍😍😍😍
Hahaha I’m afraid a lot of decor might not end up leaving my home after the makeovers lol
@@LiveItLikeLisa 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love these ideas for the silver trays!!
Thanks so much xx
Try a coat of zinsser shellac on future trays with the rust spots. That should seal them in . Then paint. Bit what you did to that first tray with the pages was AMAZING!🥰
ohhh good tip! thank you
Hi Lisa, I have three words for the tray makeovers ...FABULOUS, AWESOME, STUNNING! 😘💚💙💜😘

Oh definitely!! There’s just so much you can do with it, I’m just scratching the surface!!

I have a bunch of these that we picked up for our 20th wedding anniversary when we did a 1920s theme and they have been sitting in the cupboard ever since 😍 they are about to get makeovers now thanks for the inspiration Lisa XX

Hi, Lisa! These all came out great! Yes, I think you needed to use primer first. I absolutely love the eat, love, laugh trays!!
Yeah I loved these one the most too!
I love the first tray before you embellished it! shabby chic! It’s a shame about the rust marks. Oh and the farmers market one turned out nice too! 💜🌿💜🌿💜🌿💜 I’ll be looking from trays like this next time I go to the goodwill.
So many different ways to up cycle these and there’s always some of these at every thrift store
FABULOUS 🥰
Thanks sweet xx
Pack it up Lisa now I gotta get my Cameo out and the silver tray I got from the Charity shop before lockdown 😂 been waiting for some inspiration and you did it again, love all the trays, the flower market was my favourite 🤩 tfs 💐❤️

Thanks lovely 🤗
Gorgeous hun.
Tfs & take care 🌺🦉🎨

These are great - do you not paint the underside of the tray?
New sub here. Love everything!!! The last trays you did would look great as a three tier tray with spindles. Thanks for doing what you do. Keep posting!
Thanks so much lovely, and yes you know I had that in mind to create a tiered tray with those ones but I just didn’t have any spindles to use at the time. That would have looked awesome too
Love these! I did a couple myself, but didn’t put anything on them, just painted the up. Great ideas, thanks for sharing.
Thanks lovely, it’s amazing what a bit of paint can do

Did you know that the same color effect that you put on the papers you can do with coffee powder, you put it to soak in water, then you use the coffee-colored water to give it the same look.
yes I have seen it done with coffee too
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Love the ideas I have so many of those from the thrifting. Love the clean white. What do you seal them with? Thanks
Thanks lady, yes you can use a spray sealer on them, except the chalkboard one
Wondering why you do not wax or put some kind of finish on the chalk paint? I know most chalk paint requires it. Do tell us if you have a brand that doesn't require it please
I guess it depends on the finish you are after and the type of use the furniture will get. I often liked the rougher chalkier finish on most of my items so never waxed them, but on my daughter and sons desk I used wax as they would be getting alot of wear and tear.
Lisa, is there a way to seal the silver plated painted tray to make it food safe?
There is a food grade mod podge that should do the trick
💅 𓆩🤣𓆪
I could never tear holy Hyms The hand that was wounded for me that’s like ripping out Bible pages I’m sure if I wanted to do some old scrap I could use something besides holy hyms But that’s just me ✝️❤️✝️ Christian Crafter. 😇
Yes I totally understand that, I’m not even religious and I was a bit ‘iffy’ about it to be honest.
You did alot unnecessary layers, then covered them up.
Which one?
The first one
I just watched this and felt depressed. It looks like you are taking good silver food grade trays and ruining them by using them like canvases for plaques. What a waste and only because you found them in the thrift stores. The ones I watched you ruin could have just been rubbed down with some silver paste. What a waste of silver service to be turned into something that is usually made out of paper or wood. I hope you don't ruin too many more. You could have at least stuck to the ones that are damaged. People still by those new in order to serve food with silver service and they are expensive in comparison to some cheesy saying on a plaque. Lord Almighty
Hahaha these were not actual silver trust me. There’s no way I would paint over actual silver pieces. These were just cheap metal (made in China). You can literally still buy these types of trays brand new from the dollar store for a couple of bucks. And the one that looked ‘vintagey’ was actually just a metal trophy plaque. So no they were not real silver 😂😂😂
