Title change, “Top 5 Most Expensive Markers of 2024” - the DSR+, 180r and AMP should have 100% made this list. Tournament ready, mech compatible, OLED, feature rich at a 40% cost difference than all the high ends shown. Just my $0.02!
No reason to be toxic brotha! This was a pretty solid list! It wasn't a best bang for your buck video, it was a top 5 guns that are out right now! And they were pretty right on the money as far as high end luxury guns! 180 is considered a mid end priced range gun so wouldn't make sense to put it on this list! But they have plenty of videos marketing the 180r and talking about how awesome it is!
@@mmieky Pretty much everyone including pro sponsored Dye teams claim the DSR+ to be better then the M3+... I'm usually pretty happy with Lonewolf videos, but them putting the M3+ instead of the DSR+ really just screams that they picked every high-priced marker for this video to try and push sells of more expensive markers.
@@evillemons2037 so you’re one of those guys!! At least you can say it shoots different. But if you buy any of these over a 180 R, you wasted a few bucks.
When i started playing at age 10 24 years ago, i couldnt imagine the price of markers today. But, like so much in life, ya get what you pay for, from 700 up theyll all handle 5 star without issue, but the more expensive the model, the more toolless features there are, which is huge. Thats just what ive noticed
I did a quick search, Bob Long released the Intimidator on the year 2000 at around $1,200.00 and WDP Angels in 2000 cost about $1,00.00 (those two would have been considered two of the best markers at the time). Adjusted to today’s inflation, the Intimidator would be $2,200 and the Angel $1,800.00 (and that would be base models. Private label markers would have been more). Considering the advances made in technology (today’s markers are considerably more consistent and higher quality control), I don’t believe the prices went up much, if any. Also, paint costs are actually cheaper now than back then.
@@mikesheber2205 I wasn’t trying to insult you. I was merely mentioning that tech is better and relatively cost the same, if not, cheaper. And by the way, I also shot a Tippy around that time. They’re very good markers.
About 20 years ago we had the Smartparts freak set, today almost everyone has copied the system... Dye guns were still big and heavy. I still played autococker Oracle & angel Ir3. A lot has changed in the last 20 years
Yeah I know what you mean. Sometimes I think about buying an Lv1.6 but then I hold someone else's at the field and it confirms that the grip frame is too big for me. The Lv2 looks like it would be too big also.
I hate how they all look so similar. Same form factor. When I played back when the rainmaker came out, the difference in form between tippman, spyder, auto cocker, and angels were distinct enough that you could recognize your fav marker from across the field.
I hope more people speak out like this... Do other players actually enjoy these designs? I mean, feature-wise I'm sure they're great, but to me, their designs aren't as imaginative anymore. Call me weird, but I think that's part of what makes me enjoy the sport
can we get a 180r vs geo r5 comparison? it seems like a stretch to say the geo is worth $1600 when the 180r is only $1k. the difference doesn't seem big enough to warrant that big of a disparity.
Looking to get back into it. Last time I played they were still called paintball GUNS. I had a bob long cocker I won in a tournament and angels were just coming out… longggg ago!
I'll keep my cs2, the increase in tech isn't worth the money for at least 3 or 4 generations typically, also the LV 2 Is the nicest shooting marker I've ever shot in my entire life, soooo satisfying
Ive shot all of these markers but the idol which i just put in a pre order on a non black idol. But yall didnt add the tm 40 which imo shouldda been on here. 180r and dsr dont cost 1500 but shoulda been on here also...as always tho yall do a great job with these vids.
The high end markers dont seem to function any different from mid level. They're just milled more, have a big screen, and built in battery. Im not sure its worth the extra $500-700 over a mid teir marker.
What’s a good marker that’s better than the “empire axe 2.0” I don’t wanna kill my pockets tho… but I do wanna upgrade from the axe …. Any suggestions ?
Why are they all looking so... similar? I can finally afford to start playing regularly and I always hoped to own stuff like the intimidator or the Spyder Electra... what happened? do people actually like these things? (visually of course)
Idk if yall turned on your compressors yet but I’ll be headed to port huron tomorrow Friday the 5th and will stop by before 5 and pay $25 for a single complete fill of my 4500 tank. No one has their compressors on and I can only get 3000 psi. So please help me out!
Honestly there's only 4 I can think of without really repeating previous generations, and in order I'd say 1. 180r 2. DSR+ 3. Shocker ERA 4. Empire SYX Honestly I could switch 1 or 2 around, shot both, love both, just prefer a PE marker in my hand as compared to a Dye marker.
@@Paintballpro18 thanks bro I’m a smaller guy so I’ve been looking at the shocker but . I havent looked too much into the 180r need to get my hands on one
Every HK army marker is simply re-bodied. Sometimes they'll add their own barrel system as well, but every marker they have will perform exactly the same as the non-milled counterparts
Arguably the DSR+ is better than the M3+ and not even for price to performance. Just performance comparison in general. But of course the M3+ makes more money.
@c.j.deyoungiii2704 supposedly Bob wanted out of the business so some of the dynasty guys bought bobs patents. The F1 is basically a Bob long. Same eyes, same board, same engine basically. Same old Bob long but little differences
Yayy paintball guns that are worth more than my car😂😂. Literally started video at $1500, and ended up in the $2k range. DSR+ is used more in tournaments than m3+
You forgot the axe 2.0 lol with a barrel kit I believe it was Ironman to run them in torments lol
Should’ve titled it “top five paintball guns that paintball stores need to advertise and push and sell, because the 180 out sells them all”!
False.

I know it’s not high end but IMO one of the top markers should be the Etha3. Mech and electro with the Gamma Core for at or under $500 I think.
I would have sworn the Etha3 would have been on here.
I hear that same review at the field too! Everyone loves their Etha!
The last time I played paintball, the best markers were smart parts shockers and angels 😂 we also had the autococker and spyders… damn I’m old
I still have my shocker
I still have 2 Black Magics from WGP !!!!! I feel old AF!!!

Top mechanical markers since mech tournaments are big again.

One of the best mid range markers to get is the Shocker AMP or the Shocker ERA. Great guns for the price.

Yea I was looking at mac dev nd im surprised they dont have a gun up here
what are the top 5 most bang for buck mid tiers? for the competitive enthusiast who doesnt tournament, and wants to stay in the $600 range?

Eclipse LV2 and Force V2 my favorites.
Dye m3+ 2.0, my birthday is coming up. Blackout would be sick.
😅 I’ll just run a axe 2.0 with a redline board crbn barrel with upgraded spool bolt for tournament paint and saved myself about 1000 🎉
