    I have a Dualtron Victor. This thing is so powerful, I’m over 200 pounds and going up a hill the tires will spin. I bought it off of a guy up north that said it was too powerful for him. I also own an E-move cruiser. The E-move Is dependable and like a Cadillac of scooters. I just drove it over 25 miles the other day. Whenever I want to go in sport mode I break out the Dualtron. I’ve had it up to 42mph, which is mad fast. I mostly cruise around at 25-30mph. Love it though it will beat anything on the bike trails and keep up in suburban traffic.

    Great review! I've wanted the Victor for a while now. I preemptively picked up the tubeless tires and carry handle. The extra purchases aren't ideal, but this thing checks every other box for me. As far as taking the mudguards off - looks way better without them. Ride safe people.

    • @RK9Rides
      @RK9Rides  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      A scooter like this won't have any problems with any hills you throw at it. It's pretty much a given with a scooter this powerful, that's why I didn't specifically mention hill-climbing.
      Edit: I can maintain close to 30mph on even the steepest hills in my area.

    To be noticed, instead of the "Kiddy bar" you talk about for more accesories or lights, take a look at the front of the stem, where you´ll see 2 holes, there you can fit a small original light handlebar, that you can find in aliexpress for only $33 usd......same spot where the damper gets installed.

    Good review, I have the same impressions. Everything is stock for the moment ! the hefty price of 2200 € emptied my purse for a few months ! a friend said it was the price of an old second hand car... I reduced the acceleration to get used to it and I will increase it with time. I also chose a start with pushing whci helps in traffic with cars on your right and on your left. I disabled ABS, because it is so unpleasant, and I put a level 2 for electric brake. Fine for me for the moment. No puncture so far. I am considering buying Armor-Dilloz (very reactive answering) but I want to know if their sealant is good for tube-type tyres. I enjoy going to work every day with the Victor. It's amazingly beautiful and my students love it ! At night, it's even greater though the headlights are too low for cars to see. I am getting used to the flexibility of the stem under acceleration and braking, but I'm getting used to this scary feeling of the beginnings...

    I left stock handlebar, I do like it for some reason, and space on it is enough for me. Important note here though: under-tightened clamps can squeak. In general it does have common Dualtron squeaks on stem after some time, but they are easy to get rid of in multiple ways. TH-cam have plenty videos about it, so not going to explain it here. Also swapped turbo/dual buttons to control panel from storm. This allowed me to add front light too (arctic 4), and I'm prepared to adding turning lights in future. And don't have issues understanding what is turned on/off :).
    Additionally - regularly using their seat, and it's good enough. Have good lift and very sturdy. But going to replace seat itself to something more cushy. Sometimes have non-stop rides up to 2-3 hours, and stock one starts feeling hard after this long :).
    As I commented earlier - I didn't experienced same issue with back mudguard, when also got flat. Cut allen key does the trick with minimal effort (didn't need to unscrew entire wheel). Thought about swapping tires to D3, but just by looking on them decided not to. So far - had only single flat, so am brave :). Might add some slime in future if will get more.
    As another note: if you fully charge it (plug off when you see green on charger, not 100% on display) - it will have about quarter range or even more, above 100% indication. I actually had few rides already, coming back home at 100% still :). Although if you really don't need them all - I'd suggest to keep it charged up to 95% when possible (just check from time to time and unplug). This will be good care on you battery, and when you know that you will have long ride - just top it before riding. Victor have crazy range (on practice) even not being fully charged each time.
    Sorry for this sudden wall of text. Felt like sharing my experience, since could not find some answers when tried to make my own decision. In total - I'm happy with this scooter. Next will be Dualtron too, whatever will be current in those years :).

    Hi Mate ! Loved your video. I would Just add in the talking or in the editing of the video the equivalencies for the speed, your height, etc. For example when you say the scooter can reach 50 mph you cnal laso put in screen that 50mph = 80km/h Or your height i dont remember, to put it also en centimeters. Have a great day !

    Those stock tires with tubes are terrible. The reason you kept getting flats, is because the tire rubs against the inner tube until it pops. I had it happen to me on my DT2.

    I spoke with cooper at dualtron and do you know ( and I do not want to believe this ) that the electronic braking feature has the potential of harming the battery? Cooper suggested he was against this feature and urged me to disable it which is ironic and disappointing. I’m wondering if there is a situation in which the e-braking should be utilized? Perhaps descending down a mountain road might be a situation where the e-braking could be utilized. I guess I’m opting to turn it off then. I’d like to experience it but the $1300 storm battery replacement cost is something I do not want to pay.

    • @RK9Rides
      @RK9Rides  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Interesting. I guess there really isn't any good reason to enable the electronic braking

    • @Jonasegway
      @Jonasegway 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not hurt the battery but hurt the controller. Controllers are designed to NOT over Regen the batteries. The controller is what transfers the energy to and fro the battery. During endurance riding while riding hard you heighten the chances of hurting whichever side of the controller Controls whichever side is going to give out.
      My fix is, if you are going to be riding hard, turn your Regen braking off. If 6ou are going to be riding in hilly areas, I'd set my Regen braking to like 3-4 depending on the types of hills/ambient temps.
      All in all, if you plan on riding fast, I'd either turn my e-braking off or set it at like 1-2 to avoid OVERWORKING the comtroller

      @@RK9Rides Hello friend, what a good video and what a good channel. I wanted to ask you a question so that you can recommend me. I want to buy one of these 3 Dualtron Victor options.
      Normal Victor 24ah CN with Ey3 new for €1335
      Victor luxury plus 28ah CN with Ey4 screen for €1650
      Victor luxury plus35ah LG with Ey4 screen for €1950
      My intention is for very short trips, maybe 5km, that is, it is a whim, so due to my limited use, I don't know which one is more worth investing the money in. I also want to know if the version of Chinese batteries that are not LG would have less performance, but only in distance or also in power? Is it worth paying more for LG batteries even if it is for very little use? Greetings friend, thank you very much, I await your response

    It's obviously a nice scooter, but some major flaws. Small deck is bad. The stem is too low- and you can buy stem raisers but I'm always concerned about adding on to the stem, it makes me think that it could snap because it's not actually part of the stem. I consider those 2 safety issues.

  • @DayDinmusic

    I have the Dualtron Eagle, but might have bought this model for the hydraulic brakes alone had it been available at the time. With just 200 miles (but after the warranty was up), the battery died due to a faulty and unreplaceable BMS. $800 for a new battery. It may be a rare failure, but at 2200 or 2300 bucks, the Dualtron name was definitely not worth it for me. And yes, the electronic braking is way too grabby. It does have quiet suspension and a decent ride, but I would not buy it again.
