I remember when I was a little kid, me and my grandma used to play games together all the time, The Sims was one of her favourites. I created the characters and she gave them every kind of crazy backstories. Man I miss her so much.

My grandfather practically played video games for a living lol after he retired from the Postal Service. He was a Nintendo fanatic and died right before the N64 was released. I still cherish the hours spent in his "man cave" with all the Nintendo Power guides and him unselfishly letting me play the whole time, guiding me on how to beat games like Donkey Kong Country and Illusion of Gaia.. We never really were close until we bonded over our love of video games. I treasure him to this day. Thanks for reminding me of those memories and I'm so happy you have found a way to connect with such an important person as your grandparent!! She is a gift!

I love this so much. I have an "adopted mom" that is 89 as well. I love her so much and she LOVES playing games. She is totally into a free game that she plays on her kindle (I don't remember the name of it), but this guy, Austin, has to complete challenges in order to redo the gardens around the estate. Anyway, I've thought that she would LOVE Animal Crossing New Horizons as I just recently bought a Nintendo Switch and am playing the game. If it weren't so expensive, I'd get it for her for sure. I forgot how the game was relaxing since I started decorating my island. Seeing such a cute island that isn't filled with a bunch of roads and items makes me realize how much more wholesome this game felt. She's so happy and sweet. I wonder if we all rushed because we're influenced by what's happening online. We saw all this people time travelling in the game, showing crazy pictures of what they did. Like... In my case, I decided to not time travel with this version of AC and I get frustrated to not get the items I need to decorate my island like I see online. But... Patience I guess should be part of this game, right? It's supposed to be a relaxing game. I remember with the previous AC years ago, I had the books as well, I never saw anything AC related online and that was very relaxing to play, I was taking my time and stuff.

This is one of the most humble videos I have stumbled across! She is so precious! My dad was a big Nintendo fan and played all the Zelda, Mario and Pokeman games well into his 70s. He passed away recently but I know he would have loved this game. My 51-year-old mom plays Animal Crossing New Leaf. I introduced it to her by giving her my 3DS and my copy of New Leaf since I have a Switch with Animal Crossing on it so I didn’t play on my 3DS anymore. My mom was uncertain at first and thought she wouldn’t like it since she hadn’t played a video game in 15 years (the only game she ever liked was Spyro on the PS1) and now my mom is completely hooked on Animal Crossing! She’s been playing for several months now and me and her bond over it too. I even bought some amiibo cards so me and her could get villagers into our town we wanted. Cherish your grandma! She’s one in a million indeed!

I wish I could play animal crossing with my grandma, she never even got to play new leaf, she passed back in 2014. She loved animal crossing and was the one who got me into playing it to begin with. She's gonna have a special place on my new horizon island.

I forgot how the game was relaxing since I started decorating my island. Seeing such a cute island that isn't filled with a bunch of roads and items makes me realize how much more wholesome this game felt. She's so happy and sweet. I wonder if we all rushed because we're influenced by what's happening online. We saw all this people time travelling in the game, showing crazy pictures of what they did.
Like... In my case, I decided to not time travel with this version of AC and I get frustrated to not get the items I need to decorate my island like I see online. But... Patience I guess should be part of this game, right? It's supposed to be a relaxing game.
I remember with the previous AC years ago, I had the books as well, I never saw anything AC related online and that was very relaxing to play, I was taking my time and stuff.

This is one of the most humble videos I have stumbled across! She is so precious! My dad was a big Nintendo fan and played all the Zelda, Mario and Pokeman games well into his 70s. He passed away recently but I know he would have loved this game. I remember when the game first came out and I was really sick, throwing up. And I watched her play and it gave me something to watch to see what was on there while I was sick, watching her play really helped me to have something to do since I couldn’t come in contact with anyone. ✅🥰 I loved this series and she’s so inspirational. I’m so happy that people from different generations are still playing and gives me hope for animal crossing living in to see another day. (I decided to comeback to rewatch this series! :))

My 51-year-old mom plays Animal Crossing New Leaf. I introduced it to her by giving her my 3DS and my copy of New Leaf since I have a Switch with Animal Crossing on it so I didn’t play on my 3DS anymore. My mom was uncertain at first and thought she wouldn’t like it since she hadn’t played a video game in 15 years (the only game she ever liked was Spyro on the PS1) and now my mom is completely hooked on Animal Crossing! She’s been playing for several months now and me and her bond over it too. I even bought some amiibo cards so me and her could get villagers into our town we wanted. Cherish your grandma! She’s one in a million indeed!
