Remembering the Huffaker Fiero (tube chassis race car)

  • The car in this video is a Fiero race car, built by Huffaker Engineering. It was built on a tube chassis, powered by a heavily modified Chevy 4.3 liter V6. It also used an IMSA style widebody, made of fiberglass.
    The video clips are pretty old. So the video quality isn't very good, by modern standards. I saved these video clips for posterity.

    Where is this car now?
    Also, how much of the chassis is actually Fiero?

      It's a purpose-built race car. The chassis is a tube steel frame. It has little (if anything) in common with a production car.
