I'm sure somebody mentioned this somewhere here already, but the special edition has a reversible cover; the other side has the original cover art for Metroid 2.
Just picked it up. Loving it so far.
Pre-ordered the amiibo 2 pack too. I am a die hard Metroid fan so I couldn't miss out on the squishy Metroid amiibo.

I did pick up the game CND. I got not just the Special Edition of Metroid: Samus Returns like you did (more on that in a moment) but I also upgraded my New 3DS XL to the Samus Edition and got the Amiibo. One note about the Special Edition game you're planning to give away. The cover on the game, is reversible. You can take it out of the game box, turn it around and it gives you the cover art for Metroid 2: Return of Samus on Game Boy. Thanks. Out!
2D metroid games are my favorite gaming franchise, so I had to pick it up, and almost beat it. Idk, why I played it so much... but I recommend it to everyone!!!

They keychain isn't for preorder purchases just if you bought the game at GameStop I skipped school today cause I was getting everything especially that keychain
CND if u didnt know the special edition of the game has a reversable cover, when you flip it over it looks like the gameboy case of the game

HEY! THE METROID SPECIAL EDITION YOU HAVE HAS A REVERSABLE COVER ART ON THE FRONT (the paper that shows the game on the front) it turns into a game boy cover.
Hey CND, not sure if you are aware - the collector edition of the game has the gameboy box art at the back - its reversable and exclusive to the special edition.

I walked into Gamestop this morning and the cashier (who remembers me everytime I go in) was like, "Hey, man, here for Metroid?" and I was like, "lol yeah, but I didn't pre-order." And he was like, "It's all good." And he took out the game and gave me a keychain for free because, they "gave them way too many." Kinda bums me out to think many people in my area didn't preorder it, but hopefully they sell a lot of copies because another original 2D Metroid is something I NEED.

Anyone else notice that on the amiibo box it said “Metroid: Return Of Samus” and not Metroid: samus returns?
That's the symbol for the Screw Attack. I hear alot of people make that mistake.

If you turn subtitles on it says sandwich every time CND says Samus lmaoo.

Skyvanaire You have to blindly praise their games for them to even consider you. That's at least what I heard from other TH-camr who are ambassadors or used to be. It's kind of fucked up
When you go to a store for amiibo but all you find is useless animal crossing amiibo festival, also you should keep the special edition because if you flip the paper it has the old game boy cover on the other side
