First Jiu Jitsu Tournament | 37 Year Old Female White Belt

Here's my story of the before, during, and after my first jiu jitsu tournament. It felt so amazing to win!!
It wasn’t easy! She caught me off guard at how quickly she pulled guard. To be honest I wasn’t even sure the ref said start yet and she pulled guard, but that’s just me being inexperienced and not knowing how the match goes. Once we were on the ground, she held onto grips so tight I couldn’t break them. I made a lot of mistakes that are very clear now watching the video, I’ve got a lot to learn!
