FYI you don't want your basil to flower, it means it will stop producing as many leaves (the good part)! You should clip off any flowers that start forming if you want the basil to keep growing :) P.S. - congrats on 100K! Such a big accomplishment :)

Flowers sprouting on herbs is actually a bad thing, it’s called “bolting” and it makes the basil taste super bitter and gross. You have to keep shade cloth over it because in Ontario it’s way too hot to have them in full sun. Hope this helps! I own a garden in Niagara :)

Yes!!! iPhone quality is amazing! Sometimes I prefer it over my camera! Don't let not having a camera hold you back from starting a channel. So many creators I watch film on their iPhone and it gives such a personal, cozy vibe I find❤️
It really does take the smallest thing to ruin the day for me at work. Had to put on this months vision board "Don't adapt to the energy in the room. Influencer the energy in the room." because I was letting everyone's mood in the office ruin mine every day. Still working on it but 😮💨 Corporate girlies I know you get it.

I've shown it in a few vlogs before! It's literally just pizza sauce, mozzarella, and whatever toppings you want! We make homemade pizza dough and just freeze it, and then take it out when we want to use it! Super easy!

Great! Ha ha I’ve made the mistake of leaving them for the bees in the past and then just having seeds to harvest 😂
Hot gardening tip: if your herbs are flowering they’re trying to go to seed, which means they’re trying to die. Pinch off any attempts to flower to promote more leaf growth and prolong their life!
Yes we did this! This vlog was filmed 2 weeks ago so it isn't super real time :) My mom told me this and I have since pinched off all flower attempts on my herbs hahaha
I would pinch off the flowers on your basil plant because that means it’s bolting and the flavour of the leaves will be off

That's why for my wedding I plan to do press ons, not only they are really lasting me, if I take them off after the wedding, I can re-wear them whenever I want so taking them off won't be that heartbreaking

My therapist says she has been hearing a lot of people say their mental health is trash latrly.
I mean my mental health is up and down most months of the year🤣
In our culture it's more socially acceptable to talk about mental health. Also there is something to be said about overidentifying with a mental health diagnosis for the sake of status./.. it's now "cool" to say you have anxiety or depression. This is not to say plenty of people struggle with these real illnesses.
@@LOSTobsession1415 I used to be so embarrassed to go to therapy and talk about mental health back in like 2016-2017 when I was diagnosed. As someone with a Psych degree I wonder if it's becoming more prevalent because it's more openly talked about and people are getting properly diagnosed? Or is it that people are self-diagnosing? I know I feel way less alone now with PTSD because others share their journey online. We are definitely in a time when we pathologize absolutely everything and turn it onto a product or diagnosis, I think social media plays a big role in that but we can't discount those with diagnoses. I wouldn't wish PTSD or depression upon anyone and can't imagine wanting this because it's "quirky" or "cool", if anything someone take them away from me🤣
