After paying so many taxes government provides nothing to the families when the sole bread earner dies. The only option available is buying an insurance and now they adding GST on insurance and trying to justify it? Shame on them.

They are charging 18% on the premium when medical inflation has been averaging 14% in the past 10 years. Crony capitalism

Free health service should be provided. Insurance companies are only collecting , not telling in advance how much they may give in case of health emergency. It is also alleged that, big Hospitals are taking advantage of the health insurance policies to mint money. More deduction in Income Tax must be given. Paying 30,000 or 50,000 for Health Insurance is a big task for common citizens.

All MPs and MLAs get their medical expenses fully reimbursed from the consolidated fund ( taxpayer money) of the union and the states. They also get multiple inflation adjusted pension ( Dearness Allowance hikes every 6 months per year ) without any contribution for every 2 year terms that they served. The MPs and MLAs in most states are also exempt from paying any income tax as their basic pay is intentionally kept low ( 40000 ₹) and rest of the salary is paid as fully "tax exempt" allowances. Their total salary averages around 1.5 Lakh per month but only the base pay (i.e 40000 ₹) is subjected to income tax act. Hence their taxable income is only 4.8 Lakhs per year, which means they fall under the "zero tax slab" category even though their actual salary is around 18 Lakhs per annum, which should have been actually taxed at 30% as is the case of general public. The Indian democracy is just a namesake one, it is actually a legalized kelptocracy if you are socially aware. This is why every year around 1.28 Lakh rich families (except the politically comnected corporates) migrate to a better Western democracy. 😂

GST on insurance premium needs to be reduced at least from 18% to 6% or 9% to sr.citizens whose sum insured are very high/resulting in high premium.
Govt also should standardize the cost of treatment with the ceiling on billing.
A spine surgery under non insurance will cost around Rs 2.30 lacs where under cashless in the hospital will cost around Rs 4 lacs. Why.?

Your explanation lost its way in the alleyway of India's beleaguered economy. But it's a fact, the policy of government to impose indiscriminate GST on everything is causing people to become poorer by the day and the sneak thief government rich by the night.
