Watching Richard perform this routine in the 70's influenced me to take up magic prior to seeing Henning & Copperfield!
    Thanks Richard!-A classic routine!

It's only a "puzzle" if it's presented as one. The same applies to all magic. It's the element of entertainment that turns a "trick" or "puzzle" into magic.
Richard makes this look like magic. They don't just link together. They melt through each other. In my opinion it's a huge improvement over those who bang them together.

Amazing, he was the best with the linking rings, also the finest magician in the whole world.
Richard we owe you a lot !!!

Its an incredibly early performance from a genius that was taken away from us far, far too soon. I saw Richard s act several times, and each time, he took my breath away. An artist, and a very nice man...I miss him.

@montrealmagic knowing what a magician does is not the trick. It's doing it so smooth and gracefully. And nobody does it as graceful as he does.

It is absolutely stunning! I don't know what rings he is using, but Porper makes rings that could be used to show that middle ring like he does.

Richard Ross to the Linkimg Rings is the same as Micheal Jordan to basketball. Gretzky to hockey and Bethoven to piano. A class of his own.

I agree with you. They are just hecklers so don't mind them. SO what if they know the secret? Can they perform it as better as Richard Ross?
That's the bottom line. Just sit down and enjoy the show. Don't be hecklers

One of the rings is called the "Key" and it has a cut in it. This cut is usually hidden by holding it in the right hand.

It doesn't take much to be better than Chris Angel - so much of his material is produced rapidly for television and quality suffers. However, I haven't seen his stage show...

No, it is NOT easy. Not to do well. Discovering the secret is easy, and the secret itself is pretty basic. But only when you can perform it as well as Richard does here can you post inane comments like "that is the easiest trick".
