Truly one of the Classiest and most Elegant performers ever in the World of Magic. During the LIVE performance of his ring routine, the music was played low and you could here the clink and the purring of metal-to-metal as the rings linked and unlinked. Just beautiful. Richard's pocket watch routine was the envy of every sleight-of-hand magician in the world. So, original, unique, and performed to perfection. He was a great guy to hang with and talk to off stage as well. We lost him way too soon. It was an honor to call him a friend.
Richard Ross true Legend, Rings routine the best there is... An Inspiration to me- 1 thing I noticed is he was onstage doing cards etc and it was over 2 mins before he got a clap... tough audience or were the cards fanning & disappearing not that exciting for a Lay audience? that cant happen today..acts have to be fast & entertaining
Very well done. For those wondering, you can see the split and how it's handled at 4:42. Remember, you don't always need big movements (the split is only picked up because the camera is angled exactly straight on), just a smile and some genuine misdirection.
I've don't know a lot about magic, but that was mostly amazing. I've never seen rings done that well. I guess if you know the trick(s) it's not that big of a deal. Some of the stuff can be figured out by re-watching and not allowing the misdirection to misdirect you. It's cool the way you can do that to people. If you rewind and watch in slow motion, you can see a man in a gorilla suit walking across the stage behind him.
The music using in Richard Ross's elegant and enchanting linking ring performance is an arrangement of "Adagio in G Minor" by Tomaso Albinoni. th-cam.com/video/u99f9RAvwu4/w-d-xo.html
He has some great moves but I think his timing is a little off. Some of the vanishes and productions were so quick that you could hardly tell that there was a magic effect interspersed with so many miscellaneous fannings. The rings were quite good but again some effects like the ring that went from his arm to be linked with the others went by so quick that it was hardly noticed.

An old era legend…..my upmost respect always…..RIP 🙏🙏🙏
The absolute most beautiful Linking Rings routine I've ever seen... He makes the rings look like they literally melt thought one another
This is plain and simply awesome. Such a talent ! Thank you do much for sharing ?
I used to do a basic 8 ring routine, but I forgot, so I am trying to find moves and this one is the best I found... Bravo!
It's very sad that Richard Ross is no longer with us.
One of the best ring routines I've ever seen (starts at 2:20). I love the simplicity and gentleness.
