For whatever reason I seem to never have any luck flying out of PHL & I've been flying in & out of that airport since the late 80's. First off it used to be more expensive to fly there when I'd visit my parents who live about an hour west of the city and before USAir bought out Piedmont Airlines I'd have to fly into either ABE or BWI (Piedmonts 2nd largest hub airport @ the time next to CLT) and I was only flying out of BUF which is a 50-55 min flight, then a 2hr drive from Baltimore. Then when AA bought out Us Airways they naturally inherited Us Airways f-ups. Whenever I'd fly down a couple weeks before Christmas for a long weekend on the day I flew back all of a sudden without fail it would snow in Philly causing my 1pm flight to turn into a 6pm flight. If I visited for Easter or during the summer t-storms would cause my departure time to gain 4 or 5 hours. One Easter I flew back during a severe T-Storm outbreak. I got dropped off at the airport around 2pm and we didn't take off until 1am! Luckily it was pre 9-11 so I was able to go out and take smoke breaks with out a hassle with security. The last time I flew out of Philly was about 5 years ago when I was flying back from ORF on a beautiful, clear but 90° late July afternoon connecting thru PHL. I looked at the monitor pretty confident that my flight was on time and my 45 min layover would be a piece of cake. I even felt relaxed and felt bad for all the trash talking I'd been doing all those years. The DEPARTURES monitor was row after row of ON TIME status, that is until I got to my Buffalo flight...yup you guessed it, sticking out like a sore thumb was the ONLY DELAYED status on not only the DEPARTURES monitors but the ARRIVALS as well!! WTF!!?? 2 hours later we finally boarded!! The reason? The flight crew had a scheduling issue!! Of course! Now had I not been booked on that flight it would have left early!!
I've drove down I 95 to philly hundreds of times, I can't even count of the top of my head.

Can you redo this one with your modern equipment? It would be nice to have a view of the Arrivals terminal layout in terms of lanes and stopping ares.
Yep I'm going to the arrivals part in about an hour to pick up neighbors ...kinda nervous ima fuck it up somehow missing the turn lol

I was surprised at how small this is, and that there are no flights at night! I usually fly out from JFK so the fact that the airport shuts down at night surprised me.
it simply doesn;t shut down at night. Not sure what you are referring to.
aye I95 is horrible for rush hour. coming home from my basketball tourny it took us an hpur judt to get through phily
