    The Magnum Hammer in all the different models is my favorite rod of all time. Can do so much with it. Just got the new model custom speed stick Magnum Hammer and the G2 clutch reel seat is my favorite. Plus the new custom lite slp reel is awesome on it.

      @AndrewUpshawFishing  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I had one, the 7’ medium heavy Worm Rod 1. It’s a medium heavy moderate fast. I didn’t go into cranking, but most every rod I crank with are moderate.

    • @Roboworm99
      @Roboworm99 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Andrew Upshaw Fishing ok ya I was wondering if you were gonna talk about cranking. Plus I see you what you use for bladed jigs. I know the trend is to use composite or even glass for them. Was wondering if that Mach 2 combo was softer or not as sensitive increasing your hook up and land ratio.

    • @AndrewUpshawFishing
      @AndrewUpshawFishing  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yea, I go completely against the composite rod for a vibrating jig thing, I did it a lot, but lost soooo many fish! Once I switched to the Hammer my landing ratio increased dramatically.

    Ive heard people say the lews custom speed stick leaves the reel a bit loose and people have had to put electrical tape between the reel and rod to keep it tight, has anyone heard of this? I am new to fishing and am doing my research and im a bit confused on what brand to go for. Especially when price isnt really an issue considering rods and reels seem to be pretty cheap compared to my other hobbys. But i dont know enough to purchase multiple rods
