Fuck that makes me feel old. Remember when this came out, having been an SP fanboy since the age of 12 in 1998. Remember an early live version of Settle Down leaking on the forums and being really excited about Zwan
One of Billy’s best works. His chunky, fuzzed-to-hell guitars are absolutely inspired and I defy you to show me a more impressive drum performance than what Jimmy did here. 👏🏼
@@COLTRONNN exactly. He released something like 90% of his canon before this song was recorded. The run he went on from 1990 to 1998 was wild. Hewas writing at a Beatles level of keepers to throwaways. He has two collections of B-sides that where best sellers. The point is, like an athlete, you hit 5 to 7 years of insane production, and then it goes away.. From 92 to 98 he was on one of those frequencies..
I was stationed in Key West when this came out. I saw them live at the Hard Rock in Orlando just a few weeks/months before they disbanded.
One of the best songs ever written and composed
Indeed
This song is so good, I only share it with people who can really grasp the genius of it.
The whole album scratches all "guitar heroics" itches
The arch of these songs are amazing its a musical journey from beginning to end.
Spellbinding psychedelic anthem - incredible suspense and great release, guitar work is awesome, as well as tight drumming. Billy is as usually superb
This piece has never in 20 years felt the full length of its runtime.

@@NoHeartAnthony time really does fly. At least the music can transport you back.
THANK YOU!! I’ve been missing this song. The CD was lost long ago and I keep going to see if It’s been added to Spotify… I needed to hear it today.
I love when the song hits the 7:54 mark and becomes something magical.
I often skip to this part when I need a fix, but also enjoy sitting back to enjoy the full thing
transcendent at that point
@@WidgetWW It hits harder if you do the whole 7:53 "intro" lol

Superchrist
It's also an amazing song that has basically been locked in a box by a record label
Billy did it. Not the label. Same with zeitgeist.
This band's version of Porcelaina of the Vast Oceans.....from Melincolia.🤗🤗🤗
This song should only be played cranked to 10
You called it!😂😂😂
The mid section reminds me of Snail. One of Billy's spiritual journeys for sure. It's a pity Zwan didn't last. God they were great.
This Album is Siamese Dream 2.0 to me.
The best of "New pumpkins"
Goddamn. I miss this. Thanks for putting it here. Much love.
Everything just feels like rain
Billy bought the rights to a Christian hymnal from some publisher years ago...thus...Jesus, I
I was listening to this album a lot while returning to Christianity. I hear in it a positive message about getting beyond past relationship trauma.
Why is there no digital release of this!? Thanks so much for the post!
Billy just removes all his music he dislikes for whatever reason, he did it with Pumpkins' Zeitgeist as well
@@Georgeirfx that's not true. The temporary record deal he signed locked the rights up to everything connected to Zwan
@@zenundergroundboth can be true at the same time. I can’t speak for the zwan record, but zeitgeist is 100% billy being a little bitch about it
Banger
The fact that ab ad was placed between the crescendo and the reprise is fucking dirty.
You'd do so much better placing the ad at the beginning
The last Opus of BC/WPC. Goddamn 🔥.. there's something about being 15-26 where you can catch lightning in a bottle
billy made this 30s?
