For me I have an 11’6” x38 perche creek boat layout boat. I like it so much more than the larger boats, yeah I can’t carry as much in it. But really don’t need to. And it’s easier to hide!
I put gator glide on my layout boat AND had some left over I put on my jet sled… virtually no improvement on either. The gel coat of fiberglass is already pretty slick, so the gator glide didn’t help any noticeable amount I have one spot that has a 100yd drag to the water and I noticed no difference in effort required to drag.
Just recently got an EBADS also and sounds like we are equally as excited to get it out on the water! Your interior lights… I noticed you didn’t use the strips like you have in the past. I wanted to go with small pods or rock lights to avoid the strips from falling/drooping after use. What kind did you go with? Didn’t see them listed in your “shop”.
That is an awesome add-on! Congrats, I know you’re proud and will get a ton of content with that new tool in your toolbox. Can’t wait to see your success stories unfold…
@@OutdoorLimits I had a 9.9 hp outboard on mine and it's a bad combo. You need so much weight in the front to bring it down it was crazy. If I put my 60lb daughter in the front it would go 20mph but while hunting I couldn't get it above 12mph haha. I normally never went over a mile but it's sure a lot more fun going 20+ vs 12mph.
@@OutdoorLimits all boats can go fast haha. You should try to find the videos of the original owner of Four Rivers and him going 40+ in an EBADS. Stumps would be a real concern and if you dodging those all day you might not need a larger motor. Most people I talk to have at least a 13hp surface drive (and most of those people wish it was a 18hp) but you know your needs better than I do. I'm in Washington and travel large rivers to find shallow mud flats.
Not sure if its the link or what but when I try to go to the corner stone link it gives me the same price as it would be without going through the link any way you can help me?
@OutdoorLimits, thank you! I'm about to buy it now that I'm home. Did you star Nola on it the week she came home? I just brought home an 8 week old lab on Saturday last week, and I am just curious about when you started her. Appreciate any feedback! or tips!
Ill never understand duck boats and coast guard weight ratings. 250lb man. 100-150lb person you are already call it 380 now, so now I have room for 170 in decoys, gun, gear. that will get there fast and thats before i toss on the camo blind and grass it all in. so 550 person, motor, gear happens really fast. Its like this with most boats.

Nice boat, I fish it for sure. Enjoy. Can’t wait to see you drive it on the water!
I've got a SOBADS and love it for shallow mud flats. Enjoy the boat!!
Right on!
As a duck hunter, I love duck boat reviews. As a rabbit hunter, I noticed that big guy in the background at 7:29 lol. Great video as always!
Thanks for watching!
Haha I came to the comments to point that big ole sucker out
Awesome boat. I picked one up last year. Plan on hunting it this winter. Looking forward to following your build.
Very nice addition! Looking forward to seeing how it performs.
You and me both!

Nice setup! Sell all your boats and throw a 13hp Long tail on that thing.🎉
Waiting on mine hopefully next month
Lookin good for next season!! Closer than you think. Only about 6 months or so 😂
Shut your dam mouth! 😩
Where do you see yourself choosing the EBADS over the Refuge Runner? How similar are they in capability?
Haven’t tuned in to the channel in a while it looks like your in great shape weight wise and duck hunting lmao

The guys at four rivers did those lights for me. not sure what they are
Very cool

I will take one of your old ones!
Buy my MoMarsh
@@OutdoorLimits how much???
@@wyattjicha8767 Asking $2,200 no motor or trailer obviously, but you get everything else. Kansas City Pickup
You need to put an 18hp or 23 hp surface drive on it. You're going to get real tired of that 6.5 really fast.
we will see. I don't normally go long distances in the layout boats.

Big boats go fast. Layout boats go shallow. Plus i dont want to hit a stump going fast in that boat. We have loads of tree stumps in the waters here

It’s how much weight the boat will float with when completely filled with water
