Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams should do more movies together specially a movie like this one they had such amazing chemistry in this movie that’s one of the reasons why I loved them acting together so much!!!!!!
I feel like every man has to experience this kind of question/pain at least once before you finds the right girl that feels the same way about him as he does her. Maybe I'm wrong.
This was my absolutely favorite moment between Leo and Paige when he said this to her: HOW DO YOU LOOK AT THE GIRL YOU LOVE AND TELL YOURSELF IT’S TIME TO WALK AWAY!!!!!! And when Paige said this to Leo: LEO I HOPE ONE DAY I COULD LOVE THE WAY YOU LOVE ME
I feel sorry for both Leo and Jeremy. Best thing Leo did is he walked away ...one did not walk away becaz he doesn't love anymore but because when you realised they didn't love you ....we can't force anyone
@@gold.digger.g1rl that is ironic, because the reason that the real life couple stayed together in the first place was because they were religious and believed in the importance of marriage. They hated the movie for that reason. Which just goes to show - it is more important to be with someone because you *want* to be with them than because you made a vow - you want to constantly engage your partner.
Their real life counterparts aside, I can sympathize with both of them.. Imagine going back to the part of your life where you have never met the love of your life.. but you were with your ex.. and he was still in love with you. How could you choose between him and another story you don’t know? Poor Leo, he didn’t deserve any of that..
I judst can't imagine what someone in Paige's position is going through. She knows she was in love with him and really want to remember but she just can't. Over the course of getting to know him again she has realised that he is a great guy but the feelings just aren't there anymore. It's must be so frustrating.
This is pitiful. Why even entertain someone when you won't even plan on being with them? You're just breaking someone's heart. And some people never recover from a broken heart.
She wasn't "entertaining" him. She lost her memory. They are married. They hoped her memory would return in time. It didn't so they stopped trying. Did you even watch the movie? She wanted to remember, it clearly hurt her to do this to him but she isn't the same person anymore. He's looking at someone else essentially.
The Notebook woulda been way better if they didn't keep showing the perspectives of the fast forwarded present timeline when they're old with dementia. That's what really ruined the notebook for me. Nothing against aging, it just sorta ruined the whole young romance vibes and would have been better left for the audience to imagine the rest once she returned and chose noah.

Unpopular opinion: I never really liked The Notebook. This was hands down the best Nicholas Sparks novel movie for me.
