Just amazing talent on that stage---Chieli has such a unique sound all his own--doesn't get any better than Chieli Lao and Joel truly some of the most talented musicians!

I can't say enough good things about these guys!
Saw them in Mesa Arizona at the musical instrument museum The MIM.
The sound was so perfect.. it sounded as if we were in a recording studio and these people, no matter which line up, are absolute consummate professionals in every way.
Lao Tizer and Chelli Minucci being the solid Foundation of the Special EFX.
I love jazz.. music is not all about dancing and singing and these people Prove it imo.

Love this ! I saw them at the Beacon in NYC in 84 with Spyro Gyra and Phyllis Hyman . Absolutely incredible ! I can't understand how they aren't huge !
