I love how throughout the movies that Doctor Strange is in, the cape has some sort of humor and personality. Marvel did a great job on that.
Love the range of emotions being expressed by that creature, I mean 1:09 look how friggin shocked it is when Strange pulls the bus apart, no doubt the best acting I've ever seen in an MCU film.

His name is actually Shuma-Gorath not Gargantos. There was some rights issue with his name and marvel didn't want to waste time, so they named him Gargantos, which is actually the name of another marvel character.
it's a good scene but there's actually no way Strange or Wong could have every beat Shuma. Shuma is an immensely powerful cosmic being. He's Marvels version of Cuthulu. No one on earth or anywhere for that matter can actually defeat him. The best anyone can do is banish him for varying lengths of time.
Shuma gorath and gargantos are two separate characters as you said but marvel already confirmed this was Gargantos and that they don’t own shuma gorath. Fun fact in the original script with Scott derickson, shuma gorath was supposed to be the main villain with Knightmare serving under him. Really wish we saw his version of multiverse of madness

I like how wong uses his magical abilities with his fighting skills while strange uses his magical abilities with his intellect
Wong is less intellectual even though he is a librarian. His magic isn't really that impressive. It's meant to boost his fighting skills. Whereas with strange, magic is his strength and intellect is used to boost that.
So, basically Wong is a Battle Mage and Strange is a Pure Wizard.

Doctor Strange action and amazing spells and battle iq coupled with his martial arts is something I want to see a lot of. He has easily became my favorite Marvel hero and they refuse to let him go all out and keep nerfing him for the sake of other characters.

This new york scene is made with a set mostly practical. They made a new york street with cars and a ton of extra's. Of course they can't film in location because pandemic and new york is a busy city.

Great fight scene, very glad to see Wong getting some love. Very sceptical about Danny composing the soundtrack after his attitude and results during Justice League (I am aware of the time limitations he endured), especially since Giachinno was doing such amazing work in Doctor Strange. I'm always wary of how often the MCU lacks musical consistency.

The wide angle shots that shows both the amazing set and full view of the battle is so Raimi and refreshing instead of those close angle shots they always do where they cut away from different angle to angle after each character throws a punch/move. An example would be the claustrophobic close angle shots they did on TFATWS where you can't even admire the fight scene cause they cut away each time they throw a damn punch.

Spoilers (maybe) :
we start off with America Chavez and defender strange trying to get the book, for whatever reason, defender strange dies or something by gargantos, America Chavez manages to escape, we cut to our strange's dream but it was a nightmare, he wakes up and the wedding scene begins. The wedding is interrupted by gargantos chasing Chavez. They, together with Christine, go get the book Chavez was trying to get at the beginning because it's really important, I don't know for what or whom, I don't know how or when strange goes to talk to Wanda, but then they fight against her at Kamar Taj and strange and Chavez manage to escape, but they end up at the Illuminati headquarter, a pocket dimension. Wanda finds them, kills professor X, fights the Illuminati (they are: cap carter, Black bolt, Mr fantastic, prof X, Monica Rambeau cap marvel and mordo, it's leaked, so this is definitely right) and then she somehow manages to reach her kids, but it's a different reality, so Wanda joins all the realities together, and that's it? Lol, I'm sure I got something right, but not totally sure about the ending. About evil doctor strange, hmmm, I think he's an evil variant that'll be taken care of

After watching that clip of Chavez eating pizza well that pretty much confirms the spoilers I read about. Someone posted leaks a few months ago that after this fight they take Chavez to eat pizza. And that scene were Doctor Strange meets with Wanda will end with them fighting as Wanda is the villain due to corruption.
Wanda isn't the villain, ahead is probably being played by Sinester Strange or Nightmare
