But the sales associate told me about the Extrait, so that's what I tried. He told me the main difference betwen the 2 is performance, and the Extrait does last 12+ hours on my skin. There's actually 4 of them in the series, including Spirit of Valencia, Opulence of Dubai and Passion of Venice. They are all loves for me 🍎

Hey! I have the original Casablanca (omg I love it!) and I find it's beast mode! two sprays and I can smell it on myself for 8 hours! Not sure if I should get essence of Casablanca if it's even stronger?......😯🍎 update-I got essence of Casablanca, It's beautiful! Like a softer smoother version of the OG, I still love the OG It's just a tiny bit different!
I own both. I definitely prefer the extrait version. It seems better blended than the OG. There’s something in the original that is sharp to my nose. The extrait doesn’t have that on me. I only use the original to layer with. The extrait is good solo.

Think of Casablanca and it’s deliciousness but more amped up. That’s the Extrait. And I love how luxurious the bottle is as well. It’s a great upgrade.

Slightly. The apple note is prominent in the opening and I do get a caramel apple vibe but, it doesn’t linger on for too long. I wouldn’t call this a juicy fruity scent though.

My Casablanca is almost clear. But I just got it a couple weeks ago. I’m afraid I’ll use it all up before it gets “really good.” I do like it but there’s a sharpness I’m getting and I’m wondering if that goes away if I just stick it in the back of the fragrance closet and leave it for awhile. Is this one of those that gets even better with age?

I sold mine within a week of purchasing not knowing that you actually have to let it macerate and let it sit for about a couple months after spraying it a couple times initially. I’m talking about Casablanca and not the extrait. But apparently you have to let it sit for a good amount of time for it to get to that amber color. Hope this helps😊
I let mine sit for awhile but, the Extrait was intense right away. The patchouli is there and it gives the scent some depth but the other notes are much more pronounced on my skin
