- Hey guys! Today I'll be going over my huge perfume declutter! These are all of the fragrances I've recently let go of from my perfume collection. I give a review of everything I decluttered and why it ended up not working out for me, even if they're great perfumes.

This has to be the most diplomatic, amicable, flattering perfume declutter video I have ever watched. I don't know how you managed to make me want to still go and buy or at least sample all the perfumes you chose to declutter.
If I was one of those perfume bottles and you broke off our relationship / "dumped" me, I would shuffle my way onto your Mercari account thinking, "I'm still wonderful. We just weren't the right fit" whilst feeling soothed by the "it's not you, it's me" speech you gave as you took my photo and uploaded me online to boot me off to another home.
It was seriously THAT pleasant a Perfume breakup.
Omg thank you 😂😂😂 some declutters I do can be pretty ruthless, but when it’s perfumes I’ve loved for a time, or I can see the appeal, it’s definitely a “me not you” kind of situation 😅

I'm the same with my collection. If I don't love it, wear it, and roll my eyes into the back of my head when I smell it, it's on the chopping block. It's stressful to own fragrances you aren't in love with.

If I got every perfume I liked the smell of, my collection would be 300+ 😅 so I completely feel you on the perfume needing to feel like “me”. That’s an important criteria on whether it joins my collection or stays…because sometimes I still jump the gun and buy if I like it lol

I am SHOOK seeing that you decluttered Dear Polly. I love that one but I have found Indigo by Nest to be too similar to justify the cost of Dear Polly. It has that woody addition you might like too.
My favorite tea fragrance is Inle by Memo Paris. It has even more sweetness than Dear Polly.
Indigo is fantastic!! Just not a fan of the fig. I’ll have to try Inle! ✨

I completely agree with you - the more perfumes you add to your collection the more picky you get. Coincidently, I'm getting rid of my Dragee bottle as well.

I think the reason the necre didn’t wow you from the bottle like the sample did was because it was a different formulation. The nacre has different notes, you mention ambrette…it’s not in the nacre only in the regular yulong the. What I read from Armani “We appreciate your interest in our Thé Yulong Soie de Nacre. The original Yulong has Green Mandarin and Lime Essence, Green Tea Extract, Smoked Black Tea Extract, and Ambrette Absolute notes, while the Soie de Nacre only has Green Mandarin, Green & Black Tea Extracts, and Orris Absolute.”

I had three Chanel bottles that I finished this year and do not feel the need to repurchase. Plus the raise of Chanel prices every year is appalling. We are not missing anything 😉
I adore Chanel. #5, 19, Coco, Le Lion and Coromandel.. Le Lion is one of my major Fall/Winter signatures.
For those in a budget, can you do a your favorite dupes for your favorite perfumes
not all my favorite perfumes can be duped, but I can film a video on ones that are similar, yes :)
I have lots in my collection I barely ever wear.. Sometimes I learn to love things later so I am not a cutthroat declutterer. Wow Guaiac sounds really beautiful. I do love By the Fireplace..
Some of those made me a bit sad lol- I would have kept trying the tea ones..
Great declutter!! I felt the same way about La Belle Le Parfum and I’m feeling the same way about Thé Yulong. Absolutely love the scent but I don’t know if I love it on me 😞

I know this is a year old video, but I have to ask right now lol. If a perfume only lasted 3 hours, then why would over spraying make it last any longer? Ex. If I had a body wash that the scent only lasted 1 hours then using 3x the amount isn’t going to change that. Over-spraying doesn’t change the chemical make up of the fragrance so why would it make last longer?
I love La Belle Le Parfum and I spray it all over like a body mist! Major love!

Omg I did the same thing with Dear Polly! I loved the smell of it so much I oversprayed it one day and I was not happy. It smelled like literal smoke and totally agree some fragrances are not meant to be oversprayed. And i see you didn't declutter Gypsy Water or Initio Oud for Greatness. I thought you didn't like those two.🤣🤣🤣. Kidding.

Any advice for someone with a pretty decent sized collection who would like to sell some on but isn't active on FB groups and doesn't have a history of selling? Between my wife and I, we definitely have too many and need to cull the herd so to speak. Thanks in advance for your feedback.
I’m someone who loves to drink all kinds of tea and love the scent of tea, but don’t want to smell like it 🤷🏻♀️ Tried a bunch of tea fragrances and decluttered them all haha
Have you tried Matcha Meditation? I love this tea scent. SciFi from Ellis Brooklyn is also good and not as sweet.
I don't like Coco Magnoiselle but I love Mon Parfum 😅

the armani prive is such a goregous bottle tho, theres another goregous reviewer on here that ALMOST convinced me to get a bottle partially for that glitter 😳😂

Armani prive the yulong and dear polly are both on my list because I love drinking tea and the smell of it so based on why you don't like them I think this means I will. And I think I want to get a sample of divine vanille as I am curious to see if I would like it. And honestly we all want to smell fabulous and have a smell that exudes who we are so this means you get to love on the ones you have that do! I have a perfume I sprayed one and I turned metallic on my skin and I haven't touched it since so I think I may have to sell that. Ain't nobody got time for smelling less than bomb!

Do you like Blue Turquoise by Armani Privé? My fist try was No! But I'm so glad I returned to it because it's opened my nose to newer aquatics, I love the salt note, the dry down is super sexy.
I do! I think this is an excellent perfume, smells very expensive! But with the specific notes combined, it’s too heavy for me to wear personally
I can absolutely see Dear Polly being the type of perfume that can get overpowering …it goes smoky on me. I will be very careful 😬

I hate it when fragrance reviewers start their perfume videos with advertising stuff unrelated to the subject of the video (bags, jewellery etc) only because they got it for free. That's why I gave you 👎 Sorry, I'm just being honest.

Ehhh there’s often crossover in beauty/fashion videos. Someone filming a makeup video might mention a perfume that was sent to them, a fashion vlogger might mention their favorite makeup items, etc. I say more power to em!
Can you do a video about some tips to sell your decluttered perfumes? Appropriate price range for second hand selling, which website to use, and some more tips and tricks? 🤍
I love Mercari! I gauge my prices based on the prices others sold for, and also the rarity of the perfume I’m selling
