2:42 That "bolo" is actually an axe, known as the "Aliwa" in historical records of the Americans. It's a variant of the same head axes used throughout the Cordilleras. Named for obvious reasons. A similar implement is found in more southern regions known as the "Panabas".
Kumander Daot, I wish you introduce the people you meet in your vlogs. They would really appreciate it and will most likely follow your videos after that. You always great vlogs and narrate beautifully. Keep on traveling. I’m a big fan of yours. Padayon.
KD, It would have been nice if you mounted the Isnag bolo that you are trying to make in a shadow box and called it DAOT BOLO🙂. Thanks for sharing Apayao's history.
Kumander Dialect, opps, I mean Kumander Daot is going to be totally confused when he goes back to Davao. He's learned so many new words and phrases in other dialects that he's going to have to retake Bisaya reappropriation training from Lily... :)
Do you know the Filipino and celt have the same belief or maybe have connection.,with the weaponry and into beliefs.,you are know to land of head hunter warrior.,watch the Philippine and celt connection.,
