there's some incompatibility issue with K5 having firmware update more than 1.12.. you can shoot only once when mounted on the camera. That is may be solved by now, or it can be solved by adding a 1Kohm resistor in the flash, not too complicated nor expensive. Otherwise it's a good 'cheap' choices for a manual flash.. go for it.
