This would be great as a variation of the blacksmidshop for your bearknight faction. The stone botom part and wood upperpart would work well as I imagine the bearfaction to come from a forest/mountain realm. So swis or austrian style housing would fit them. Again this would be something I would buy. I loved the scale and detail on the blacksmid set so this would be right up my alley

One of my favorite MOCS! It looks just like it could be an official set

That looks really good, bro. I like the ground texturing as well as the tree climbing up the side of the building. Bridge and building are tight af. Looks natural without any wasted pieces. I'd be proud to put it on my shelf

Just something very obvius I wanted to add.... technically not every soldier is a knight and I doubt the soldier at the gate is one. I know people say that but its a bit cringe to hear to my historical ears....ofc it depends also how You eqiup them, what position and what fantasy story You make up in Your head.... but generally when i see a set and a couple of guards and archers then they technically do not qualify as knights even though they could or that they are subject so somebodys individual fantasy story.

Mocs designers only care about pieces we got it . And get the most money possible in a set instead to be realistic and cheap as start and let builders buy more pieces and other sets afterwards .
When will this farce about designers stop for a moment . The 3in1 set was a nod from two Black Falcons castle sets not one .
Remember there were 2 Black Falcons Castle what with those yellow walls and the other with the red pieces both offered the same amount of mini-figs "six" .

Again no baseplate , again no pieces to hold the base together which fails with the Eldorado Fortress remake and the $400€ Knights Castle were those pieces were needed and crucial to keep the set together ( similar failure was found in the Ghostbuster car set were everything fell appart ) .
So if designers are only thinking for the quick buck then best to let everyone dream in the Lego world like it was meant to be as start .

Seems like Lego has moved to more display value in sets rather than the playability of the 90s system style sets

You know Lego existed in the 80's, 70's, 60,s too ? And yes Lego is more a collector item to put on a shelve at home taking huge amounts of dust because people are too busy .
What i cannot understand and dislike is nowadays people buying huge amount of sets to be rich by selling them thru EBay or other sites ....which makes me sick .
Whereas there are others who thinks vintage sets are sealed which none Lego sets was sealed before 1995 . They were all with that tiny round Scotch taped sealing but that was all about it . Real sealings never existed some stores in Europe removed everything from the box because thieves etc...
I would really find more accessible sets for everyone with a more common sense thinking than thinking about value after sellings in the future who no one should care about .
I loved Lego yes but not more what it has become these last 15 years and the community around that makes it more worse and a premium item than be a simple "toy for kids to play and have thousands hours of fun and imaginations" . Adults should stop to be too demanding tbh .

@@brickstarsofficial What are you talking about? The LKC has a ton of playability, you have all the rooms, the trap door, dungeon, secret door for the forestmen, etc. Also looks like the new DnD set has a lot of playbility also.

    • @bz6046
      @bz6046 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

You can move the castle easily it is modular for a reason. They did not fail with the LKC in my opinion. Not all sets can be on the old baseplates like the raised ones from the 80's and 90's or even on the 16x32 or 48x48 baseplates. Moc's are made for what aesthetic fits the build and not necessarily stability.

@@bz6046 for sure some new sets do but just in general the design of lego sets over the last 30 years has shifted more to design focus than play focus we think

The front looks great, the back not.
