Plot twist it wasnt the chair shots that made him insane or even losing his ear... it was being forgotten about by his boss... by the time he came out the ring the arena was empty and everyone had flown home.. legend has it the real mick foley is still there waiting on vince to pick him up... he is now known as.......... If I’m not mistaken, the original PPV is actually considered lost media since the footage of the matches that were filmed using the temporary equipment has yet to surface in full.

I always find this story amazing because my mom and dad were actually at this pay per view live when this all happened. My mom was aware of the storm outside, but at first she thought it was supposed to be a scripted lights out until the emergency lights came on.
I was there too. We thought Undertaker was coming out. 😂😂
Only time i can remember is when Raw i wanna say 2015 after the rumble was “cancelled” bcuz of that massive snow storm. JBL was on top of Titan Towers getting hammered with snow lol.
Yeah. WWE showed the WWE Championship and Royal Rumble matches from the RR 2015 on Monday while Michael Cole did an interview to Lesnar & Heyman, whom later does it with Reigns.
I remember that one too! JBL doing the introduction (I think it was the intro?) on the roof deck was something else.

Funny, I was 15 at the time, and this was the first PPV I talked my mother into buying for me. Not the best experience, but I did find it cool that they made up for it a few days later (and honestly the strap match in the replay was pretty amazing)
My parents hate wrestling so I never watched a live ppv until it moved to peacock unfortunately for me

My mom and pop's ordered PPVs for us every few months. The PPVs I choose was always the big 4 PPVs.
Remember I was a teenager I'd actually went to the Memphis wrestling uswa promotion in Louisville Gardens the night before some of the wrestlers are still there it was a great experience plus I used to get all the paper views from WWE and WWF back in the day when satellite dishes were top notch you had primestar that you can hack the card and get all the pay-per-views for free those were the days
I used to get the paper views for free and I think I got the ask my Uncle to tape it for me because he worked at heading used to put the tapes in any just got a promotion so we get the call-up work so I understand
When this happened, there was actually a storm where I lived. I remember sitting at my uncle's house watching the show hoping OUR power wouldn't go out, and then....😂
I remember my sister asking me if I thought the sexual harassment story was WWF taking influence from the Stevie Richards Missy Hyatt storyline in ECW.
I rented it and still have the 2 part VHS recording from original broadcast.
Every time Jack said “In Your House: Beware of Dog” it cracked me right up.
This is a great series. Not too much new things I learn from wrestling videos anymore. But this probably being the catalyst for stone cold is amazing.

Damn I haven’t heard someone ask me that since I was ab a teenager lmao!! But Any & Everytime someone new came along that was looking for the “Secretive First Loop” we always told em it was over off of King & Queens!!! No bullshit some of them actually bought it too!! Good times good times!!

What about WM w/ Joe and Cole in raincoats. That could if easily been cancelled if it just kept raining
The whole thing wouldn’t have been canceled. It was 2 nights, so they would have just jam packed night two or hold Raw in the stadium
I remember my dad buying a VHS of Beware of Dog at a car boot sale.... I saw HHH V Mero AND Savio V Austin then during the Yoko V Vader match the tape cut
I remember that one, the Caribbean Strap Match in the dark lol
5:58 and 25 years later, McMahon and Pritchard have not forgotten about the curtain call so they take control of NXT giving Triple H another "eat shit and learn to like it" moment.
I don't think that's because of the curtain call. I mean I don't think Triple h will be worried considering at least this time, when it comes to NXT most fans are on his side because of the brilliant job that he did.
Finally now trips has had a cardiac arrest with all the stress and weak enough to not be able to fight back vince finally gets vengeance for trips screwing his daughter 😂

13:16 So basically the biggest draw in wwf history arguably, and the person who ended WCW's ratings winning streak, all started from a mediocre ppv that had a power outtage, as well as a good performance against Savio Vega of all people.
Savio Vega could fucking wrestle dude. He’s super underrated.

I remember this day. I was 12. At this time my parents would order every WWF PPV for me. On this day my mom called the cable company to purchase this and couldn’t order. Was told that there was trouble with the weather so she couldn’t order. She was able to make the purchase of Beware of Dog 2 2 days later
Remember that time raw was cancelled because of a snow storm
The snow storm in 2015 the raw after the rumble after many paid money, just to see it free the next night
I always thought the power went out during the Stone Cold/Savio Vega strap match.
I believe so yes, from what I remembered there was even a time when the lights were flickering while they were hammering each other with the straps. Not sure if that was lightning from the outside though illuminating the darkened arena, but it could also be from the lights dying off

You forgot one, Raw was in Oklahoma City during severe storms and the power went out for part of that show.
An underrated In Your House PPV in my opinion.
I was there that night. Florence, SC. When the lights when out we all thought Undertaker was coming out. All the lighters were in the air and then Finkel get a megaphone out. It was pretty dope actually. Felt like an ECW event with Savio and Stone Cold.
That's crazy I was just living in Florence I'm from Sumter SC I go down to Florence once a week that's pretty cool.
On the WWE network on Peacock, they smoothly merged the two different airrings into one event

People always love to talk about how many wrestlers he "buried" ,but they shouldn't forget that he is a prime example of someone coming out of that, EVEN BEFORE HE MET STEPH IN FALL 1999.
I had always thought that the curtain called punishment was a little bit more longer than that for triple h

LMAO there was nothing vince could do about it .. the power went out there was nobody to scream at .. all he could do was sit calmly .. it was what they call an act of god .. totally unavoidable .. it's hard to believe someone as hyped as vince wouldn't find someone just to berate anyway .. but eh storms make the call when they're doing what they do ..
Vince doesn't forgive or forget. When Storm (first name Lance) finally arrived in WWE Vince made sure to get payback by burying him.
Plus there was the time when Vince made God put him over in a tag team match.
