Why is it problematic for individuals to engage in political and societal discussions? It is the very essence of a democracy for citizens to participate in tbe process and make their opinions heard.
The main pre econdition is that the discussions remain civil and accept that knowledge is boundless and no opinion is as such untouchable.

Is there any discussion here about how to define a modern Hindu Pakistani, Christian Pakistani, Sikh Pakistani, or any non-Muslim Pakistani?

  • @Raju-gi3gr
    @Raju-gi3gr 18 วันที่ผ่านมา +80

Imagine being a Sikh (whose gurus & even their kids were mercilessly k!lled by Isl@mic rulers for refusing to convert) or a Hindu hearing this expert say "Muslims rulers ne India me aise impose nahi kia".
I wonder who imposed jizya tax on non-Muslims during Mughal era which was a legal part of Sharia?
The only reason non-Islamic cultures survived the attr0cities of Isl@mic c0lonization was because India was never completely under its rule. There were always kingdoms that existed and retained their non-Isl@mic cultures.

      ****************************************
Irrespective of right or wrong, only Judaism can come out with an original Abrahmic solution.
Christianity and Islam are mere copy cats, who can't think out of box solutions to their problems.
That's why in Europe, Christianity has to become weaker in order to grow scientifically.
And in the Islamic world, Science has to remain weaker for Islam to sustain.
      *****************************************
The same is true for Dharmic frameworks.
Since Buddhism Jainism and Sikhism are just derivations of Sanatan Dharma in varying degrees, they could neither survive the wrath of Abrahmic philosophies like in Afghanistan (once a Buddhst country) nor could surive the inducement of becoming rich or atleast equal in Capitalist-Socialist-Communist frameworks like in China and Japan. They had to let go their concept of God, Family, Success and Soul in order to grow economically.
The original Dharma is Sanatan. And therefore you will see Hindus never had this problem of having to choose between Dharma and Science.
      ******************************************
My guru predicted this long ago: For the establishsment of Dharma, you will see a war of words and swords between the Jews (original Abrahmics) and Hindus (origial Dharmics) in the end times of this KaliYuga.

The basic problem is the Pakistani identity is defined by undefining the Indian identity. By doing this, you are un-doing all your ancestry and roots.
The real shame is you are not owning your own history such as vedic civilization, the hindu ancestry, these are the things you must be proud of. Infact the word India should belong to Pakistan, you must own it. Only a few wise Pakistanis who put Nation and society first over religion are realising this.

    Lets Simpilfy:
    1. First identity: Human Being(50%)
    2. Second Identity: Geographical( Say {Pakistan), where you pay taxes.. around 10%, cuz you can migrate and that could change.
3.Cultural: Food, history, Music, arts, drama, architecture, poetry etc. Big part, say around 35 %.
    4. Religious: This is not a constant, cuz as we know from history, people can change their faith, as Muslims in the subcontinent did. Muslims got it all upside down, that is why they are having problems all around the world. Culture and tradition which is based on Geography for the most part should be openly celebrated... Religion or personal faith should be kept private.

Islam more or less bases success in this world on the power of sword, physical courage of Ummah and absolute submission to guidelines in divine texts for achieving reward in afterlife. Now both of these stipulations have inherent weaknesses and face increasing competition from modernist ideas of Innovativeness and progress of STEM sciences coupled with Democracy and secularism behind success in this world, whereas (personalised) spiritualism and altruism is proposed to take care of afterlife (if at all it exists). The unwillingness of Islam to reform the Otherism (against nonbelievers), of women and violence against minorities (Gays, Apostates, Blasphemers and minority Muslim sects) and mixing Religion with polity are main problematic areas for Islam today. Pakistan on the top has another additional issue of identity crisis.

@chtayab7891 "Islamic conquest is not about subjugating, digesting and destroying others like European conquests.". Typical Muslim rant 🤣
My guru predicted this long ago: For the establishsment of Dharma, you will see a war of words and sw*rds between the Jews (original Abrahmics) and Hindus (origial Dharmics) in the end times of this KaliYuga.

If youre claiming jinnah never wanted to break Punjab then what he wanted all of punjab in pakistan?
That wasnt likeky as their elected leader Sir Sikandar Hayat Khan was pro congress. Most likely a united punjab would have gone to india.

The real difference between Pakistan and Afghanistan is that unlike Pakistan, Afghan Govt is sincere towards its people and country. Afghanistan has bare-bones Govt and military structure but super effiecient as well. They don't have millions of active duty security forces, their terrain is harsh, their area is probably bigger and sparesly populated but still they maintain peace, law and order far better than us. You can also observe the same peace of mind, law and order in GCC while driving through barren deserts. In GCC, Some small cities would have 1 police station and you would rarely see any Police presence in those cities but still safer than Islamabad's red zone.
They generate resources for the Govt, development and their people whereas Pakistani Govt $ucks blood from its citizens.
This idea would seem to be counterintuitive to many of you but i bet that remove this Pakistani Govt system, dismantle the establishment and let the people live free. The decentralized bunch if tribes would be more prosperous and developed that what this current Govt structure wouldn't even have dreamt to be in the next 6 decades.
Edit: I am not against the federation of Pakistan but introduced this idea to show that how much inefficient, corrupt, exploitative and unsustainable this system is. Decentralization, minimizing the Govt's structure and making it efficient is the way to go.

You guys discussed some very esoteric ideas, and I will admit, totally surprised me. I was under the impression that Pakistan is devoid of people who can think at all (rationally or otherwise). So its great to to see Shershah and yourself as people who actually read and think. Kudos, and here's hoping that your quest to find thought leaders actually meets success.
That said, the basic problem with a declared muslim state is the self-referenced finality in the Quran. Which blocks off all pursuit of knowledge and free thought in any society wedded to the book as a literal manual for societial structure.
It would be one thing if it was something people used in private life and there wasn't a state-sponsored coercion to follow things literally to the letter. In other words, you can't build a 3rd Republic of any sort in the 22nd Century with a manual from the 7th Century.
Everyone is walking on eggshells around this central issue.
I feel sorry for you guys in a sense. It's a catch-22 situation. If you follow it to the letter, you can't progress at all. If you don't, then people challenge the essence/raison d'etre of your nation-state. There's really no winning here.
