What a great Man , Pakistan is proud of Dr. Ata Ur Rahman !
This was Asif Zardari who has ended all the great programs of HEC. Pakistan is so unfortunate to have such rulers who have sabotaged the future of millions of intelligent students.
It’s never too late , I wish that our establishment must bring him back to start his visionary programs to take Pakistan to the highest levels of education. God Bless Dr.Ata ur Rahman 🤲

This guy Atta ur Rehman is responsible for single handedly destroying the education in Pakistan but more unfortunate that great journalist like Amber Shamsi and Kamran khan are endorsing this curse. Instead of bringing credible scholars like Dr. Pervez Hoodhboy, these people are helping spread more disinformation and giving publicity to criminals of our country. This guy has not done or invented a single thing but keep blabbering on the inventions in west.

At the 22:44 minute mark in the video, I am currently listening to this. It feels as though it was approved and given a green light, yet it never materialized in reality. This is all due to the discrepancies among our Pakistani people and the lack of vision in our government. Dr. Atta-Ur-Rahman is a gem for Pakistan. If he were given full authority to implement and do the right things as he has said, we could soar to new heights in prosperity. This can only happen if we all contribute to being righteous among ourselves and towards others.
A salute to Dr. Atta-Ur-Rahman, Sir, for your contributions and future aspirations for our country and education. Allahumma Barik

Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman's insights offer a hopeful vision for Pakistan's future, and it's inspiring to see such a roadmap for transitioning to a high-value knowledge economy. Education truly is the bedrock of national development, and investing in our youth can unlock untapped potential.
It's encouraging to hear about the focus on innovation and technology, particularly in sectors like IT and pharmaceuticals, where Pakistan has immense capabilities. Learning from the successes of countries like China and India shows that with the right strategies, we can elevate our status on the global stage.
While challenges like corruption and governance issues remain, the call for transparency and effective governance resonates strongly. If we can harness the talent and passion of our people, I'm confident Pakistan can rise to meet these challenges. Together, we can build a prosperous future where education, innovation, and ethical governance lead the way. Let's keep pushing for progress!

Many students graduated from the HEJ Institute of Chemistry (now operating under the aegis of the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences) at KU and later earned their PhD and Post-Doctorate degrees from world-renowned universities.
So, Dr Atta-ur-Rehman has done a lot of good work at the HEJ Institute and this department and its faculty members, plus students, have earned many accolades for the country through both research projects and knowledge transfer.

Lack of action when it is or was needed, is a worst form of corruption an individual or society can commit. Not acknowledging it and holding perpetrators accountable is grave injustice and principal cause of degradation of an individual or society.
I wish, those who desire to eradicate it; understand what it is and why it exists.

Dr. Atta Ur Rahman forgot the very main pillar here. Reasonable and Justified pay (per hour and paid in a week) and Federal and State Labor departments, and Bureau of Labor Statistics with each profession reasonable salary. Why? Because, justice to society, good education all depends on your ability to pay tax and strength to pursue your rights.

If someone claims to be a forward looking individual, I can't imagine that individual to be working with the government in any capacity. Even with the low wages, millions of Pakistanis aspire to work for the government (largely because of the benefits and job security, and not because of the professional excellence)

The jihadist of your country are killing your people ,so should be Palestinians be worried of Pakistani muslims..
First focus on your country..Sounds bitter but sorry to say ,Islam interest among Pakistani youth will end its inevitable .Do you know how ATHEISM is rising in Pak...
Because all other religion ,though they have absurd practices are trying to change thete practices with time , trying to make the rituals according to 2024 so on ,but ISLAM is not ...look at iran islam is dying ,saudi etc

Doctor Sahab, while it's a waste of time to even talk to the Sindh government about land acquisition for foreign universities, Karachi’s real issue is that 70% of the land is occupied by the cantonment mafia. You mentioned your conversation with the core commander, who offered 250 acres in DHA City. But let’s be clear-relocating students and universities to such a distant, out-of-reach area is absurd. Please, for God’s sake, tell them to relocate all their unnecessary offices currently scattered between Metropole, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Faisal Cantonment airbase, Karsaz, Naval Colony, and up to the airport and Malir Cantonment-move all of it to DHA City’s 250 acres. Then use this prime land from Metropole to the airport to build a network of universities, making it easily accessible for students from all over Karachi. It would allow students to conveniently manage their studies, internships, and part-time jobs. Expecting students to travel to DHA City-a remote area outside the city-is not just impractical, it's unbearable.
