Our new video shows you how to use Jesmonite sealers. You really do only need a small amount, our sealers go a long way!
Acrylic sealer
Particularly suited to our acrylic composites AC100, AC200 & AC300, where it will provide prolonged external surface durability, whilst retaining the key attribute of flexibility that is sympathetic to the natural thermal and moisture movement of Jesmonite. It can be diluted, and pigments can be added to create colour washes to apply effects such as aging to the surface of Jesmonite objects.
Flexiguard Sealer
Can be used with Jesmonite AC630, AC730 and AC830.
Solvent free, stain resistant formula specifically designed to coat porous surfaces. Clear coating, UV stable, extremely durable.
Application - We recommend that Flexiguard Sealer is spray applied as a mist coat onto the surfaces of AC730 and AC830. It is important to ensure that all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from any grease or oil.
Penetrating Sealer
Penetrating Sealer is designed for use with all Jesmonite AC630, AC730 and AC830. The material provides invisible protection against water and oil and provides stain resistance against many liquids and environmental contaminants..
We recommend its use where stain resistance is a priority.
We recommend applying two coats, the second coat is applied once the first coat is tacky. This sealer should be applied with a high-quality brush spread evenly across the material surface. Ensure that all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from any grease or oil.
Tip: Do not allow the first coat to dry completely before applying the second coat.
