    Thanks for your lessons. I just bought your wonderful book and I'm studying hard to learn the cards - some of which are easier than others.

      You're very welcome. It's best to use the cards to ask every conceivable question and record everything in a journal. You'll start to see how the cards show up to explain things to you. You'll begin to see patterns and see correlations among certain cards. Remember that it's a language and must be practiced. Fluency takes time - enjoy the ride!

    Hello Lisa! Your book has arrived and I am loving it! I have already watched several (like more than half) of your videos and usually I have questions hehehe… I am practicing regularly and trying to figure it out on my own or look up on the internet. But I really like your approach and how fluid is your reading! I think, for the exception of the moon card representing work, all the rest I follow your guidance. Anyway, I will get to the point now lol…you mention in one or more videos that you have a Facebook page? Is it open to the public? Does people share reading there and help each other to interpret it? If positive, mind giving the name of the group so I might join? Thank you so much for all this videos you make, they are really awesome

    Wonderful video Lisa 💐 I just recently did a small spread, and the garden and bouquet just threw me off so much, but this video gave me some hints on how to interpret it. Would love to see your opinion on this spread below if you have got some time! Thank you in advance!
    Context: I was waiting for an update on my job application for a position with a company. I completed all interview rounds and am just waiting for the final result.
    Question: What I will hear from them when I follow up with them this week?
    I drew a 5-card line and read narratively: Moon + Lily + Letter + Garden + Bouquet
    Seeing the Bouquet at the end of a positive string makes me so excited that I will finally receive the long-waited offer, but turns out it's not it, so I was struggling hard to try to make sense of it, especially the last three card. The communication was made, and as confused as I was, I finally was able to link the cards to the actual response I received from that company. Interestingly, I can link 2 layer of meanings out of that 5-card line that captures perfectly our brief conversation, but unsure if any of this interpretation is straying from the traditional meaning.
    "They recognize my virtue (can value be used here?) and wisdom (moon + lily) and that i'm on their list (letter) of people (garden) they will give the offer to (bouquet). But progress with job offer (moon + bouquet) is slow, and they will be in touch (letter) when they receive (bouquet) the note (letter) for expansion (garden)".
    I think the bouquet in here is two-way, referring to both the people who will receive the offer and the company themselves because the company is also waiting for the "yes" from upper management to continue with the hiring. Is my thinking consistent with the traditional meaning?

      Yes, yes, yes!!!!!! You're seeing it perfectly. I've seen the Garden+Bouquet pair end a line so often for this type of question, and it usually says that there are others who are better qualified, but they appreciate you applying. That may be the truth in this case, but there are other possibilities. If you see the Moon and Lily as recognizing the most experienced - the one who will bring the most satisfaction to them, and see the Letter as the application for work. You have the Garden and Lily touching the application card - there are others who fit more harmoniously, and that's what they're trying to attract or where they're placing their attention (Moon). Look at what's touching the Bouquet - the Garden (card of others/expansion/moving outside of what they have now), not the Letter, which would make it an offer letter. Rather than an invitation, the Bouquet at the end may be more of an apology in this instance. You asked why the Lily rather than the Tree? The Lily shows that they're seeking a harmonious fit - someone with experience that will ensure a blissful relationship. The Lily is also a slow-moving card - a card that asks for patience. The Tree would've said that you weren't a healthy fit, but I don't think that's the case here.

      @@lisaloveslenormand6357 thank you for your response😍😍😍! I guess I was confused as the cards were so positive (3 positive) so I kinda expect a positive response from them. Bias is so hard to avoid when reading for myself 😥😥
      I have a quick follow up question - maybe a silly one - but since I asked the cards “what I will hear from the company,” and received these cards, should the cards only tell me exactly what the company will tell me? Or can it provide details to what the company is feeling/doing but not disclosing their true feeling/action? The exact response to that question was that I was on their list, but hirings are on hold right now; they don’t know when it will continue; they are aware of my time constraint and recommend me to explore some other options during the meantime, but will be in touch again when hiring continues.
      Since you mentioned that one possibility of truth was that they have their focus (moon) on other (garden) more satisfactory fit (lily), I am curious as this possibility does not align with their actual response, but could it be that it’s their hidden motive? Thank you!

      @@dectwentythird You’re diving deep which will serve you well! Don’t beat yourself up - bias and attachment to desired outcomes is why none of us can clearly interpret anything that we care deeply about. It’s why readers read for each other and why I tell people to practice with questions you don’t care about when you’re learning.
      I’m sure you’ve already seen Lenormand described as being very blunt. It is. It won’t lie. It also is answering what’s truly on your mind which often differs from the words we choose to phrase the question. You didn’t really just ask what you would hear from them. What you really wanted to know was the truth and that’s what the cards gave you. Don’t forget that with only 5 cards, you’re not going to get every detail, but you’ll get an answer. What they are sharing is that they appreciate your application - they recognized your significance - but they’ll continue networking and inviting others to apply - possibly in the future and not now. The Lily is the card of retirement, so if the Moon shows that they’re trying to attract someone, the Lily can be a retirement of that. But, you can’t dismiss the Garden+Bouquet after the Letter. The Garden is expanding and networking, not halting the search. That would be the Coffin, or temporarily the Mountain, or the Ways for going another way with the initial plan.
      Looking at their response, the cards could say that they recognize that you’d be a harmonious fit (32+30) but they suggest that you apply elsewhere (27+20). They appreciate your application and thank you (9). Either way, they didn’t hire you right now and that’s all you need to know. They still may offer you something in the future, but for now, you need to take their suggestion and apply elsewhere. Remember that every door that closes opens another somewhere else. The right job is out there just waiting for you!

    In regards to turning Rider and Snake upside down: isn't it significant that she laid this particular deck and if this deck has those cards in a different direction than is traditional, wasn't it be meant to be read that way? (understanding that the intention of the reader would still override other factors)

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You misunderstood. I didn’t turn them upside down to match a traditional deck (all of which display different directions - there’s no standard). I did it to match the directions of the deck she used. In other words, by turning them upside down, I recreated the directions that she saw when she laid the cards.

    Could the bouquet have negative meanings? I read somewhere that bouquet can describe a superficial or shallow person. Another meaning is someone who put on a pleasant facade.

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Excellent questions, Sprinklets ld! The Bouquet is a positive card and will only display negative meanings when surrounded by negative cards or in a small spread where you're asking for the worst traits of any card (don't confuse this with someone who's choosing to see only the negative in a spread because of their personal biases regarding the question). The reference to superficiality or someone who's putting on a pleasant facade can fit this card in either of those situations. A Bouquet-type sees or wants to see, only the pleasant things in life. If the Bouquet can advise you to look your best and be courteous and charming, then in certain contexts, that could be seen as being superficial or even phony. If the Fox or Snake (deception) were facing the Bouquet and the context fit, that could say that someone was putting on a pleasant facade. It's no different than the Child's sweet innocence becoming childish or small-minded if the other cards suggest that. Does that make sense?
