True Crime: Streets of LA is a 2003 open world action-adventure video game developed by Luxoflux and published by Activision for GameCube, PlayStation 2 and Xbox in November 2003, for Microsoft Windows in May 2004, and by Aspyr for Mac OS X in March 2005. A mobile phone adaptation was released in November 2004.
The game tells the story of Nicholas Kang, an uncompromising LAPD detective who is recruited into the Elite Operations Division in order to investigate a series of bombings in Chinatown. As he delves further into the case, he discovers it may be connected to the disappearance of his police-officer father twenty years previously. The game features a 240-square-mile (622 km2) re-creation of a large part of Los Angeles, including most of Beverly Hills and Santa Monica, with most street names, landmarks and highways reproduced accurately.
They don’t make it like this anymore 😢
Wow sooo much nostalgia!! I remember on summer breaks, I would go to my uncle’s and would

Man I loved fighting in this game when I was a kid
I actually really liked this game back in the day lol I remember seeing the commercials and being amazed
The open world was kinda useless, but everything else? Yeah, that's the game I want a remake of.
This is more realistic than los santos in gta sa
I'm surprised Luxoflux hiring Christopher Walken, Michelle Rodriguez, Michael Madsen and Gary Oldman voicing this game.
Maybe Christopher Walken not Nolan?
On ps2 this game looks waaaaay much better than on pc.
But pc version has a multiplayer
My remember my dad got us this game and max payne at a yard sale for me and brother when we were so little good times
Childhood memories no wonder everybody from the 90s ended up going to the penitentiary or ended up with felonies
Awesome game! Brought so many great childhood memories.. I was always picking up a convertible car and driving throught the highways with my radio on..
Back then, I enjoyed walking in this game’s city as I remember there was a church here. Plus can smash the windows, and the MC is good looking

Excellent.
i remember playing this when i was like 7
In my experience as a kid playing. I honestly thought this game had gta 4 graphics. That’s what I remember.
Same here bro
Game was kinda dull overall but i dunno i actually enjoyed it still in some ways. City was so massive for a game on ps2. Its also like the 20th anniversary of this game and it sucks that we ain’t ganna get a remake of this most likely
antigamente eu jogava esse jogo e pensava: tuuu é doidoo é real demais!!!
How did PS2 hardware manage to run this game?
He’s using an emulator. Otherwise it would be a very difficult task to stream PS2 footage from the console to your PC.
this sound soooo funy 17:59 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I really didn't like this game is it just me or... what.
I didn’t like it much but it was still enjoyable to play it once. Gets extremely tedious after awhile
